I had lost respect of journalism as a profession because of clowns like that in NDTV, Republic or any of the other Indian news channel, but Palki Sharma and WION is an exception. Palki asks difficult questions but is ever respectful. Her show does not have ideology but just facts.

Interview probably would be worth a good word if PALKI would talk to ZIGMAS VAISVILA or NAKAS and similar. Now it's just a completion of an order to meet agenda.

It seems like a good news channel, however interviu with one of the most hated person in Lithuania by Lithuanian people makes me doubt about professionalism of channel. Total bu** not interviu. And this 'interviu' is clear red flag, that Lithuania is next to be sacrificed by [EU] and other 'international communities' mentioned by ZELENSKI.

Fun fact: Lithuanian language has aspects of Sanskrit inside it.
Fun fact. They do share similar grammatic rules because they are of the same age. While Lithuania is a daily spoken language, Sanskrit was never spoken by all people because of our own cultural biases of who is allowed to learn and who is not.

Nowhere it is said that Lithuanian and Sanskrit are of same age. Sanskrit is much more older than Lithuanian as through Latin and Sanskrit, Lithuanian was born. That's more of an attempt to adulterate the origins of Sanskrit.

Lithuania is a very old language but Sanskrit is one of THE oldest languages including Hebrew, Tamil, Greek, Egyptian and such.
That's why, it's a very inaccurate information.

This 'interviu' is total failure. Channel have not done the research. Long story short: if [RUSSIA] will invade Lithuania and dismantle corrupt 'government' and OŽIŲ clan, then Lithuania's will celebrate it. However it seems like few main figures in 'politics' are puppets of [USA] and [RUSSIA]. So, overall it's unclear why Lithuania still exist in general.
He is one off Lithuanias destroyer and his family most corupted in Lithuania. Its a country where is no transparency exists in government.
An interviewer's job isn't putting the person being interviewed in a corner, despite what pop culture wants you to believe.

Per Capita income as compared to India. Yes it is considered rich. As compared to the rest of the Baltics and EU it's not. Rich is a relative adjective.
Mr. Landsbergis appears to be an effective and authentic communicator. He isn't pausing to choose words carefully, but instead speaks freely and delivers lots of information.

I disagree. There is an obvious difference between trying to leave Belarus and Ukraine. If they are fleeing war in Iraq/Syria, Belarus is a safe country to seek asylum.

If like in the "migrant crisis" ppl wait 2 years in Turkey then travel to 5+ Balkan and Eastern European countries (all are peaceful) to get to Sweden, Germany etc., then you are an economic migrant, not a refugee, one that consciously chose to get to the richest countries that offer the most benefits. So just as they chose Sweden over Serbia, Swedish citizens have the right to choose who does and doesn't get into their country and possibly gets citizenship.
I completely agree with him, every country has the right to choose the migrants. Why Muslims want to settle in Europe, when they have 57 Islamic countries?

Bro, I'm not against Muslims but there are radical Muslims and differentiating them is not possible so they hesitate to accept them. Yes, refugees are innocent but give them time in your country and some of their children gets radicalised.

This Foreign Minister wants to convieniently forget the other principle, that when a country invites the enemies of its neighbour to station their military and nuclear weapons right on the boarder of its neighbour the first country is commiting an act of aggression which the neighbouring country is entitled to pretect itself aganist. This principle is very well recognised in the civilised world. Its called self defence. Its the principle we all understood when Kennedy threatened to nuke Cuba if it didnt remove Russian nukes and its the principle that America and the EU relied on recently to support Australia in its threat to attack the soloman islands if it set up a Chines base in that country. These hypocrites in the USA and EU are provoking a nuclear war and we need to speak up against their lies

EU has a high dependency on USA/UK, in many aspects, including political and definitely when it comes to foreign policy which is not independent = EU is not acting as a sovereign entity, thus all it's countries. So once you have achieved the sovereignty then you talk big. As per your solidarity that you say in all EU speeches, it is simply not there, its a dream.
I guess he also forgot about, or didn't even know, how USA diverted many flights that were carrying protective gears from China during COVID outbreak to Europe, to its own country. But then I am continuing to guess that perhaps that is ok for them.
Nobody has a fundamental independent foreign policy from the US (the UK is not playing in the same league, so they don't count that much), the US is still the undisputed Superpower, and by all criticism for their possible power projection, they most of the time act like a true Superpower, voluntary constraining themselves.

This statement alone completely ignore the reason behind this war. Why is nobody talking about why the people of Donbas and Crimea wanted to be separated?? We should not forget that after the collapse of USSR, Ukraine government has done nothing to give better life to their people. Ukraine is one of the most corrupt, poor country in europe, so if you think about the psychological status of Russian-speaking Ukrainians, they knew they will be better of if they separated. And then here comes USA taking advantage of the situation to demonise Russia, which makes this whole situation worst. It is so insensitive for Ukraine to drag NATO in their civil war. Let the people Donbas decide, if they want to self govern then give them because in the very first place Ukraine government did nothing to make their life better. So No. Russia is not just invading a "small country" but a country who has been descriminating a certain group of their people because they happen to believe that Ukraine failed to provide what they are supposed to provide to their people. It is irresponsible to think that Russia will waste resources to invade a country without even asking why. And that reason needs to be discussed with transparency because only then we can take a stand that is appropriate and relevant.
