I'm sorry for the distorted video. RUclips kept blocking the video on copyright and I had to re-edit and re-upload multiple times until it was changed enough to be visible. I wish it wasn't this way.
It felt like the song ended while it should have continued, but it was already three minutes. That was really surprising. The song carried at least me away. The problem with both of the songs by far is that there is no climax. But it is a solid pop song that we will hear in Finnish radios. Nelli Matula is an established artist in Finland. She has also participated in reality television (music) contests, and she is really someone who likes to be silly. I hope that side comes out of her if she enters ESC. The song itself has a past in her diagnosis of CVI disease (her body does not produce antibodies, antidotes) so she might get sick quite easily. The song was written after the diagnosis and Corona virus. She had a lot of time being alone and her life kind of stopped. That is also repeated in the song lyrics how others can run and haste, but it does not bother her at all the stay still and watch the clouds go by...
Nelli has had a health scare, and I think she's dealing with that in this song. She's singing about letting other people rush life and experiences, let them run. She has taken a slower abroach and enjoy the moment. ❤ She is happy to be going to her grave in a slower pace. By the way I found the English lyrics in the subtitles! Just had to change the language.
Kuumaa Kuumaa mixed with Mirella. I enjoy it a lot and its meaning (Renata remember about it as a PhD student! :D). It will get a result similar to KUUMAA but I quess it will get quite extensive airplay in Finland. UMK is not only about Eurovision.
To summarize the part about death: Let those run who want to, she is enjoying her time. Some people seem to be hurrying to the grave, she has a slower pace.
i really like this song, it might not be a high octane eurovision banger but it's so catchy and upbeat that i can't help but smile. please tell Cookie that i adore her.
The vocalist delivers a lot, but I don't get how the arrangement pushes the song into a straight dance beat kind of rhythmic pattern. The track is melodically so rich that it screams for syncopation to elevate it to the ethereal levels it belongs.
I had to upload multiple times and make all kinds of changes to the sound and video to get around the copyright. Other reaction videos didn't have the same issue and I'm very annoyed by that.
@@espotpod That is such a shame! As this is part of your research, couldn't you have gotten around that by contacting Yle directly? Also, it is really strange that you have this problem when others don't. Who on earth understands the ways of the gods of copyright...
Miten muut jotka tähän reagoi voi soittaa videota ihan normaalisti, ilman että ääntä ja taustaa editoitu.. ei kai yle näitä nyt niin pahasti oo copyrightaamassa
I wish I knew. Had to edit and upload five times changing it more each time before it finally worked. Nightmares had no copyright claim at all so this was a huge disappointment for me.
The title of the song was for me quite awkward, but when listening to the lyrics it made some sense. For me the song is ok but don't really get the video...
Again, great song, great singer, she's very animated. The video was interesting, I hope they won't overdue it on the UMK stage, YLE is kind of notorious for ruining good songs by over staging them. Nevertheless, I probably won't vote for the song, it's just not my cup of tea.
Yle is sometimes slow with UMK subtitles, but as others have said, professionally translated English subtitles have been added to Hitaammin hautaan. You just need to check the subtitles/cc language setting behind the gear icon on the video^^ I sometimes have auditory processing issues so I'm always checking pretty much all the videos if there's any language I can vibe with because generated and AI translated subtitles are often worse than no subtitles at all lol. I personally don't really listen to Nelli Matula either (this is the first song by her that I know I have listened to) - there's something about the breathiness in her voice quality that makes me squint and go "hmmm." I might get used to it, or I might not.
@espotpod Look more carefully. You might come to notice the same reactions that I see like licking lips. It's possible that we read these small gestures differently. Listening, paying attention, by no means implies that the noise is enjoyable.

If you have a VPN, you could use that get around the subtitle thing. Shoutout to UMK for being one of the very few NFs to subtitle their songs! ❤
You can also change the subtitle language to English from the cog icon next to the CC icon.
English subtitles are now available😊

Did you notice there are english subs now?
What is wrong with the inserted video and its sound? She sounded a bit like Benjamin...

Cooky clearly doesn't share your UMK enthusiasm.
What do you mean? She loves it! She listens to all the songs!

It was nice, a grower. But no hope of winning, though. She has had some work done on her face 😮 Sorry to comment on that but the Botox is so clear 😂
