Sarai was the half sister and wife of Abram and they later changed their names to Sarah and Abraham. They traveled to Egypt where Abraham basically sold his wife to the Pharaoh for animals, slaves, and money. Yes God gave them a child when it was physically impossible at the approximate ages of 90 and 100 and they named it Isaac. God later tested Abraham's loyalty by demanding he sacrifice Isaac to him to. Oh my gosh, that is horrific! And God couldn't even make time to watch over Abraham and Isaac. He sent an Angel to do it and it was only at the very last second as Abraham held a knife above Isaac's heart that the Angel intervened. And he didn't intervene by swatting the knife out of Abraham's hand ... oh no ... he simply yelled from Heaven ... Hey Abraham!. WTF.
