Slight correction, there is a difference between abuse and discipline. Abuse is done with no reason and meant to inflict pain and torment. Discipline, can be verbal or physical but is typically the result of a wrong doing and has a message behind it. Example, forcibly taking a screaming kid out of a store (carrying or half dragging) to sit in a vehicle and scream because they acted out after being told no, some might call it abuse cause its forcing a child to do something they dont want and also because the parent wouldnt comply with a simple want, when its not and is actually discipline, and teaching them that the behavior is not acceptable. Media and society have now turned discipline into a horrible thing, but without it, children have become so much worse.
@@bamstar1453 Well, cursing isn't good, but neither is backhanding you. A parent shouldn't justify wrongdoing simply because their kid did something wrong.
