this song reminds me about how mermaids were singing to sailors to hypnotise them. Then the mermaids pull the sailors with them in the dark sea to suck their soul out of them.
Not necessarily, there are mermaid myths that share a lot with the siren myths as well.

I mean, you're talking to a girl who likes Jane Austen books, Musical theatre, cats, and glitter. My favorite singer/songwriter literally releases his existential music under the name "Sleeping At Last." l think it's safe to say I stay a pretty good distance from the edge. The closest to "edgy" I get is like... Imagine Dragons and Avril Lavigne.
Personally, I think its a shame that she is compared to all these other singers. To me her voice is very unique and hopefully she'll create a name for herself one day.
But sadly her comment section is disabled and I cant appreciate her enough.

Fun fact about the black sea is that it is very irregular and quite dangerous if you don't know how to swim you wouldn't even think about going in. You would think you are on the shore and next thing you know is you are too deep in the sea.
