@@elliottmanning9376 netherite is too op and to get it is pretty simple you can get many with beds or tnt so it's a little bit logic to make it hard to get

This update is still kind of disappointing. The armor is solely cosmetic. It looks cool, but that’s it.

Me spawning next to a beached shipwreck finding two.
This short was actually made back when the first snapshot with armor trims was available lol, so they used to be a lot rarer in different structures, and the structures that spawn two of them per chest only spawned one.

All they need for desert is simple we need desert temples to have a re-design, we add desert treasure which is a desert artifact, you need to collect so many of these to open the doorway to necropolis (*insert more Minecrafty name*) these doorways are found in the desert 1 spawn per desert biome, this new area has pale sandstone blocks and the water is purple, no lava exists, there is also a boss of this area, which would be based on a pale sandstone golem once defeated would give you a way to create the moon boss in the overworld, but once you defeat the boss of the necropolis this changes the mobs, allowing the spawning of an undead army of mummified zombies who use bows and special swords, these are need to be killed to collect shards from which help you seal the necropolis after you beat the moon boss.
The main appeal of entering the necropolis would be the special weapon you get aswell as Ingredients that don't spawn anywhere else.
Like special flowers that can be added to potions to increase duration, aswell as the pale sandstone blocks that are as hard as obsidian in terms of damage resistance and also the ability to create sandstone golems that will provide protection to you and villagers by providing a buff to defence (golden hearts) they also give off light, which helps with the new deep dark. Just an idea.

The fact that amethyst finnally has a decently cool use is good
Finally Lapis and Quartz can be useful for another reason, we are getting one step closer to Emerald Armor
The amount of time rekrap took to make all the different armor sets
And he made a new video where he had to make EVEN MORE ARMOR SETS, for the flow and bolt smithing templates.
You can apply trim to lether armor, and even paint it over and over until it matches! Hope this helps ! ( Bedrock)

Update to anyone seeing the video now:
The armor trims can now go on leather and the same material as the one used in the trim (ie diamond trim on diamond armor). They’ve also added some more trims since this video was made

I could imagine the different trim materials giving effects in a future update, like lapis will help with enchanting, emerald would make trading with villagers easier, and so on

Red stone trims can act as special ‘keys’, being able to access Redstone doors and mechanisms without a button or lever
Gold = Piglin immunity
Amethyst = Glow Armor
Copper = Increased chances of Lightning
Netherite = Fire Resistance
Quartz = Regeneration (Search it up)
Diamond = Obviously Durability
Iron = Do magnets exist in Minecraft?

The type of trim material is a flex and the trim style showing places you've explored almost like some kinds medal

They've finally added Copper Armor, Emerald Armor, Redstone Armor, Quartz Armor, Lapis Armor and Amethyst Armor (in a technical sense).

Damn, this is TRUE!!?, I really thought this video was gonna be 50% thoughts of what are the new updates gonna be and the rest 50% on the potential looks of the stuffs that's gonna be added. Mojang really went crazy for this snapshot, this proves WHY MINECRAFT WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST GAME TO EVER EXIST.
