God I could listen to Maddie read a phonebook and be a happy man
+Lennie Godber Right? Instantly subscribed.
I went from 6 to midnight when she said "viscosity"
+Shade Kell I'm with you there
+Shade Kell wow she is so hot
@Kuntor Kunty Don't be crude! Complimenting her beauty is respectful, but that comment would most definitely piss her off. Douchebag.
I remember reading a news article at least 50 years ago now; about a man that was bitten by a rattler. He managed to grab the snake and bite it back. The man survived, the snake didn't.
That man is chuck norris
This would have been more interesting with a control sample, you blood normally clots outside of the body. 5 ml w/venom and 5 ml w/o venom is what I would have liked to see.
A good friends son was bit by a rattlesnake last week. It took 13 vials of anti-venom to stabilize him! Please be so careful as the weather improves as the snakes come out to bask in the sun! Most frightening thing ever, for this family! .pgw/USA
Patricia Walters At times like this I'm glad I live in the UK...
glad i live in singapore since there aint no wild snakes going on around here
Patricia Walters good thing he did not die
Where in America are you? I live in Wyoming and had a couple of run-ins with prairie rattlers last summer.
Cassandra Multifandom, I heard one OFW a filipina who serves for 16 years to a Singaporean family, who she killed the back king cobra was roaming around her employer house in the front house yard/garden, she might think that when her employer will return home would bite him, she killed the cobra using broomstick.
I didn't realize snakes consciously chose to live near people who specifically cannot afford snake bite treatment(1:40). Man, those snakes are devilishly cunning.
Well you don't want your dinner disappearing.....
Needles scare me but they don’t hurt at all
wow that was very interesting, I had no idea before this video how many snake bite deaths occured to humans each year from snake bites
I'm sorry, but snakes creep me out and I just don't understand why I'm watching this.
Your beauty is more venomous than snake's venom
They spit at you with happiness
My God... She was beautiful. Who is that gorgeous British lady?
Creepy how she handles the blood
can someone explain "it can kill up to 10 people"......does that mean that from that little bile of venom, it would be enough to give it too 10 people?
6:34 - 6:43 Holy Jeebus!
I thought you were injecting the venom in your arm
I like her facial expression when she says "Thicken".....And also, what a cutie.
Being an American Rule#34: If the speaker has a British accent, they know what they are talking about and thus are experts.
Rule#35: if a woman looks like this and has a British accent, the sexiness raises by at least a factor of 10.
Next up: How I Kill A Snake.
Snake poison, venom... xD
Stop wasting that venom
WAS that sore when he put that really sharp needle.😥😓😨😨😨😨😰😰
people who love snakes must be out of their minds.
could have been better in categorizing the venoms
in larger animals like us. what did she mean?
Snakes are as dangerous as they look.
well done
English folks you just got to love them.
Never get close to a snek
blood vs venom in real time microscopic view pls. nice flowers =D
High blood pressure
Where is the old man?
Does she actually still have blood left?
But that “clotting” of the blood would happen regardless of the venom if it was exposed to air, like what it was done with that open triangular flask, no?,,, i want to see her put the venom with her blood than put a cork to block the flask not allowing oxygen/air in.
gloves lady gloves
I was bitten bypuff adder, swollen to left shoulder now, what should I do,help
Brave !!! I love you !😘
She looks like captain Marvel
How does it react with menstral blood...Prob kills the venom...Bazinga

wow beautiful voice 😘
Amazingly beautiful 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
can someone die if he touches snake venom with his bare hands?
well in theory no but you probably have small cuts in your skin so maybe it can be dangerous.
***** Sure about that? I mean, the whole idea of drinking/ eating is that it goes into your blood, right?
Moreover, that'd be assuming your whole mouth/ throat don't have any kind of little cuts/ bruises, and I don't think that's the case.
+Heartspade Ace Poison is ingested, venom is injected
It's more complicated than that obviously but that's the basic principal
Lennie Godber so...?
+Ritsu_Tainaka_Is_ A_Goddess so people with ulcers and stomach bleeding can still get venom in their system?
Good video medam
Omg..he was the worst lab guy ever..he was shaking his hand n inserted the needle further in later
Naz Shams I am pretty sure it is a technique to reduce pain or something else.
You're Australian im guessing by the accent
She has a British accent.
damn nature you scary!!
ParabellumFox family guy!
ParabellumFox its just nature god created
ParabellumFox ikr
no i'm not
No ketchup, just sauce..raw sauce
So......................what happens when you pour anti-venom on the mix?
Yeah. I want to see that
+yourmamaisphat
They already said there is no current anti-venom, and besides once eruption begins you can't just "anti" the venom; it's job is done. The only way to cure it would be to restore the blood flow somehow, (like how in Cranked, yes I'm using a movie as an example, he had to keep his blood pumping fast else he would die), which might include, (based on common sense, not facts):
Injecting them with something that thins the blood; not sure if it could counter the clots or congealed blood, but thinning it out sounds like something that may or may not work.
Chopping off the limb you got bit on to prevent it spreading, (not a very realistic idea as most aren't prone to keeping tools for that on hand when venturing around snakes).
Developing an anti-body that people who live around these snakes could take daily. Like a pill that keeps their blood from reacting so strongly to the venom, (something that would need a lot more research before it's made I'm sure).
guess anti venom negates the venoms affect in much the same way your immune system would destroy a virus. rather than magically undoing the damage caused already by the venom. then stem cells can repair you once you stop dying.
Clotting is not a problem, but I can't think of a cure to destroying red blood cells, except an immediate total transfusion of blood.
Hi
He didn’t take the tourniquet off before he took the needle out.
How is it 80% of these comments are talking about how sexy she is when that has absolutely nothing to with what the video is about?
Alysis 216 ikr
80℅ here are Men.
Just simply cause shes gorgeous
I literally came here just to see what snake venom does. But I mean give the others a break she's adorable. Like a stuffed animal
Why do you think the producers chose her to be the host? Because she is a scientific authority? No, because she is personable and photogenic. She attracts viewers.
Hello to the other needlephobes who had to scroll down when the blood was withdrawn!
Well hello my fellow friend
i'm a alien hi
i read it with the song of hello from the otherside :P
I don't care about the venom, I just love watching her! ;)
She cute tho
Can someone explain to me on a molecular level what actually causes venom to clot the blood?
Is it just me or does her blood look really dark
I've never seen a bunch of blood ( like all in a bag, I have seen it through cuts and stuff) but maybe that's what happens when a lot of blood is put together in a pack.
It's from the vein, that will be why. In the military, you learn to recognise different shades of blood to determine if it's an arterial wound, vein trauma or flesh wounds. The darker the blood, the more severe the wound usually. There are exceptions but it's usually locational.
Slippy Nips what books to read to learn more
yeah i thoght that too
random-stuff blood is much darker until it touches oxygen
Non venomous snakes have a type of venom that acts as an anti coagulant in the area of the bite. Just not dangerous unless bitten into an artery.
It depends on the venom. Some are hemotoxic, some are neurotoxic, some are a combination of both.
Not leaving my house
Big thumbs up beautiful lady, very interesting...
Didn't inject it? 1/10 + 5 for being gorgeous + 4 for the accent, 10/10. You redeemed yourself.
When When I read the title I thought. "Are they gonna kill someone"
This is a cool experiment but blood will do that on its own outside of the body with no venom. let the blood sit in that syringe for about 5 10 minut3s and see if you can squeeze it out
In my country India, Morethan 50,000 people die coz of viper bite. Especially Russell's and saw-scaled viper. Most deaths happen in remote villages. Your video is educational. Thanks !!!
There is something about snakes that frightens me. I lived in the Southern United States which is full of snakes. I know we have anti venom in case of a snake bite but can it be obtained and injected before the snake venom begins to take effect!
There something about snakes that intrigue me. I live in the Pacific Northwest and we don’t have a lot of snake variety
honestly, I just come her to hear Maddie talk. amazing.
People moan a lot about living in Britain, but thank god we don’t have to live with vipers, Cobras and Pythons 🐍. Snakes make my skin crawl, they’re horrid.
in indonesia, theres a singer that performed with cobra snake and they forgot or idk why they didnt tape the snake's mouth.. and YES.. she got bitten by a s cobra and died.. literally. and not just that. her neckale and ring and her accecories got robbed during her death.. OMG
SO why to say "snakes bite so many people n kill..blah blah".. n ill treat them ..i wud say "Snakes donate so much venom to make antidote for fellow snake bites coz human irritated them n provoked the bite..
The experiment is worthless. She should have taken half into one beaker and the other half into another beaker. Then add venom to one and the buffer the venom is in to the other (or water). Both will clot ... so what's the difference?
6:35 I swear if you survive that bite and live to tell the tale, ur Superman in my book. Over one billion people from one tsp???? Dafuq God?
If a viper bite another viper what will happen...or can I follow Instagram on Instagram...if I type Google in Google Search bar what might happen🤔
If you are going to post an educational video you shouldn't have drop dead gorgeous lady as a commentator it just distracts everyone forget about the venom I thought I was going to have heart attack by looking at her!
This is how we make blood slime 😂
Whar is blood slime?
Doesn't make sence, blood always reacts like that when out of human body, I've people on accidents their blood looked exactly like that
I thought this video was about snakes and venom and human body why not do some graphic enhanced video demonstration.... Instead of seeing ur over dramatic face reactions and all ur teeth
I would not watch my own blood be venomised.... It feels like it happens right inside my blood system...... Umh Umh.. 😒
She is so sweet
Who came here for the hot chick?
How can she not be terrified? 😱
Normal answer: she's brave. Macho answer: Because she already saw my anaconDICK!
Scared of what?
@@Mikhael_bureau Macho answer, a.k.a. "mansplaining"
How lame.
Horses or sheep used for antivenom so does this mean that horses and sheep aren't affected? As I've heard horses have died from snake bites so that means that the test subjects will die to get the antivenom. I'm confused
I was bitten by a copperhead on my forearm in the Southeastern US and was given no anti-venom. I think the doctors enjoyed seeing how large my arm would swell in 15 hours. They told me they wouldn't have provided me with the anti-venom unless I had produced the dead snake.
What were the consequences?
Other than the 14 hours of pain while in the emergency room and having an abstract tic tac toe drawn on my arm to track the progress very little thankfully. I lost the use of the first three fingers which gradually over time returned to almost full function. The index and ring fingers still remain somewhat stiffened.
I'm getting thirsty... I want blood...
Crazy Demon Girl I only drink...blood.
Bullwinklejmoos finally I'm not alone! XD
Is it just me or is she a discount Lucy Lawless. Or maybe all Australian women look at alike to me.
How spitting venom vented by cobra is detrimental to the human ?? If it not diluted into veins and any tissues ??
The video is not kinda medical... Cus the way you put the blood in the tube could also cause the rbcs to lyse
What do I do if the poison is sprayed in my eyes?
I have to use water on it?
Pls. If someone knows what i have to do to not lose my eyes
