Why don't they pump this out with the same urgency as the COVID vaccines??

That was the least informative report I've ever seen. No mention of the actual drug, the clinical trial, or the principal investigator of the research, just a generic reference to a 'pill' (and indeed it could be an injection and not a pill). Instead they interview some random person who had cancer and got their reaction. What a complete waste of time.
This will take 20 years for general public but pfiser covid jab was out in 3 months and mandatory for everyone

Every now and then I hear that there's a breakthrough in cancer treatment. But it never truly cures Cancer to the masses.
This is because it takes a decade or two to get anything past the last human trials. Imo, we're about 20 years away from an actual cancer cure
I mean we have found it multiple times but the government kills anyone who finds it or anyone who exposes them but they make more money treating then curing

i dont know but... over the past 10-15 years i have constantly been reading articles and videos like this talking about breakthroughs and whatever. Talking about pills that cured cancer and got rid of metastasis and im sure normal people just read those things and are like wow nice. BUT reality looks different for the majority of cancer patients these days. my grandmother died from cancer in the 60's and she had about 2 years from diagnosis to death. just 2 weeks ago someone i followed on youtube died from cancer and they had roughly 2.5 years after diagnosis and they tried literally everything they could: surgery, chemo, immune therapy and tons... TONS of clinical trials. Nothing helped. So im always very skeptical when i see or read articles like these.
Most of this medical trials don't make it to FDA approved. And each once takes many years, up to decades to get to the final human trials. This one looks more promising as it's been in development for 20 years. I'd say we have to wait 10-20 more years before we can see the final results of this treatment.

Our knowledge of biology is making rapid headway because we have finally built up the tools, like artificial intelligence, to do it. But it took creating a massive base of physics to get there. It's why we are in the bizarre position of being able to see the background radiation of the Big Bang but can't cure a lot of horrible illnesses. Biology is insanely complex.

@@Izakokomarixyz, there are supposedly many fasting benefits, especially intermittent fasting or so I've read. If it's true or not - I can't fully confirm yet would guess that the benefits are there.

They keep coming up with new cures for cancer every 6 months it seems, but idk anyone that has cancer thats getting all this advanced treatment 50 years from now they still be using chemo

I've been fighting liver cancer for almost 25 years now; almost half my life. So anytime I see a title like this one I listen. And like the hundreds I've watched they always come and go never to be heard about again. You can even ask your doctors about these "breakthroughs" and they'll probably look at you like HUH?

I doubt there would be any shortage of volunteers to help test this drug. Especially someone who is terminally ill and has no options left. Surely some would be willing to help test it. Although I'm glad trials are already underway. An update would be great.
