      @@animaladvocate8938the only neurological issues I've heard about were IF the person taking it has parasites in the brain and when the parasites die off, the person can have seizures or other effects. There are dogs (like collies) that have a certain gene that cannot take ivermectin or it could be fatal. Also there have been cases where people had elevated liver enzymes while taking ivermectin/fenbendazole, but they had no liver damage and when they lowered the dose their liver enzymes returned to normal. Both meds a very safe. Usually any side effects are from parasitic die off not the medicines

    Thank you for sharing this! My 10 year old boxer got diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma on his heart with innumerable spots on his lungs after coughing up blood. Our vet said she thought he wouldn’t have maybe 2 weeks to live. I started him on a raw food diet and have been giving him 6 mg of ivermectin every night (he’s ~60 lbs). That was 8 weeks ago and he is looking and acting totally normal! People need to know that they have better options than just letting their pets die, which was basically what our vet told us.

      pls chk with your vet as 6mg of ivermectin daily may be hard on liver and other organs. you can always add other alternative drugs like fenben, essiac tea, herbs like garlic, 95% curcumin and lower ivermectin a little after consulting with vets n others who specialists.

      I saw you are giving 6 mg and another reply about liver. I am not sure 6 mg is too much but a blood test would give you status on liver. Maybe an ultrasound will tell you status of tumors to make an adjustment. I always understood Ivermectin is a safe drug and tablets are not as strong as paste and injectable given orally. 3 mg is maybe the right dose but I wouldn’t change it if the blood work is ok and the ultrasound is good. Hemangiosarcoma is a bad cancer.

    • @amitkp6957
      @amitkp6957 Год назад +5

      @@donkeas9545 One can always give ivermectin by injection to bypass the liver in play, however, it will pass through kidneys so only vet should tell the dose for both oral or injection route. Absorbtion into blood is way better by injection and best by an IV.

Needless to say he is cancer free now and says he will continue to use his protocol for the rest of his life as a preventative. It took me a long time to come around to his treatment. My dog was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. We amputated her leg, but they said she only has a few months left. We are starting immunotherapy, but this video definitely caught my attention. I brought it up to the vet and she told me that ivermectin fighting cancer is misinformation. They won’t even let me try. I don’t get it because my dog already has a death sentence, what’s the harm in trying? I’ll try this after her immunotherapy is over!

    I so appreciate you! Just this week I took my senior rescue cat that I adopted from a Palm Springs, Cali shelter approximately 1 yr ago to a Vet Clinic that seems to have the only decent reputation in all of Coachella Valley. My cat isn't currently sick but does act odd every 3-4 weeks for 3-4 days. During which he barely eats or drinks, his ears and furr get oddly out of shape and he hides and shies away from me. Then the next morning he's perfectly normal again. So I took him in to be checked out and get established as a patient for when I may really need them. So after a very young Female Vet with an obvious beard examined him, did a few minor things like ear cleaning and filing down his back claws, she said that he seems in excellent health. But even still, she came in with a prescription bottle full of pills that she recommended for him and was ready to sell directly to me, like a foregone conclusion. The RX was for...Gabapentin a human anti-depressant! Because that is now the dictated Standard of Care for EVERYONE on this chemically toxic planet of Profit-Seas!

    This is the equivalent of 0.009 cc / lb of body weight or
    0.09 cc / 10 lbs of body weight.
    For ex. Tula is 22 lbs. 22 x 0.009 = 0.198, which is 0.2 cc when rounded, exactly the number he gave for Tula.

      1kg=2.2lbs
      My 12.5lb dog is roughly 6kg so he could take 1200 mcg equalling 12 units on an insulin syringe

    I lost a boxer mix to cancer the vet that saw her said he was suspicious of the heart worm medicine causing the rise of cancer in dogs because of the higher numbers he was seeing . So he was speaking in terms of more animals being treated with the drug compared to when it wasn't being used to treat heart worms. He has been a veterinarian for 20 plus years I found what he said to be very plausible because of his years of practice treating animals. I'm beginning to think most all health problems stem from all the chemicals that are putting in most everything we consume.

      I agree. Humans and animals are being negatively affected by the chemicals that are added to food.

    Your video on Ivermectin dosing is very timely! THANK YOU!! My Yorkie has a malignant salivary gland tumor. I have watched all of your videos and decided to try Fenbendazole along with krill oil. She has greatly improved in energy and her appetite is normal now- we wouldn't know she has anything wrong by her behavior, however, her tumor has grown. I would like to try the Ivermectin to see if there is any improvement. Can she also stay on the Fenben. or is it an either or situation? Thank you!! We are very grateful for your videos and all of the help you provide!

    Wonderful information! I can proudly say our own veterinarian sent this podcast to me. Keep up your great work Dr. Jones. We are aware of the MDR1 gene, but we give ivermectin to all our dogs which are Australian shepherd mixes. We feed raw mostly and under vaccinate
    Our dogs are robust.
    We have stopped all vaccines in the last two years in fact and are stumbling our way now toward homeopathy instead of vaccines. They are reported to be more effective than vaccines, without the long term side effects. Can you look into these nosodes for us? Bless you for caring so much!

    You can have your dogs tested for the MDR1 gene. I think Cornell University does it.

    Heads up for dog owners. Embark tests for the MDR1 gene. I only know this because I was looking into the demodex skin condition and the treatments for my GSD. I just had both my rescue GSDs DNA/health tested with Embark, and I feel the test was worth every penny. Especially since now I don't have to get a separate test just to detect for the MDR1 gene.

But, if you do DNA and health kit, they test for over 200 genetic health conditions. It's a simple swab of the dogs mouth, and off to the lab for testing. They have a few tests to choose from, so be sure to get the one that includes health.

    Just found out my 9 year old golden retriever has lymphoma. His leg swelled bad just over 2 weeks ago and had tons of fluid. Vet said he didn’t think he had much time at first. Was praying for infection put him on prednisone and antibiotics, his hind legs lymph nodes shrunk but came back after we weaned him off. Took him in yesterday and got the diagnosis. He’s feeling great since the onset and is running around like he’s fine. Have him on prednisone and will be adding ivermectin starting tomorrow. It’s worth a shot.

    My 10 year old dog was diagnosed with bone cancer last week. I put her on a low carb diet, with mushrooms, broccoli, fish, chicken, and a little bit of her dog food, along with PANACUR c, cbd oil, and Curcumin. I rejected the amputation of her leg. I know the pros, and cons, of doing the amputation, and my decision was to skip it. I first heard of the Joe Tippins Protocol from Dr. Jones. I pray that it will work for my Allison. My decision was based on the fact that this is what I would do if I or my wife had been the ones to get it. This is the treatment I would use for me.

      My cats and a bunch of rescues I care for get 1% injectable ivermectin monthly for ear mite/heart worm prevention. I’ve also treated various other mites, dosed weekly. I’ve never had a problem. The amount I give cats for mites is similar to what is being discussed here, a ten pound cat gets 1mg (the “1” mark on a 1ml insulin syringe). My huge 22 pound cat gets 2mg, my tiny 6 pound cat gets less than 1mg.
      I know that cats tolerate higher doses than this and some conditions are treated daily. I don’t know those amounts off the top of my head, but there’s plenty of accurate info online, such as Merck Veterinarian Manual.
