This makes me realize who's the better parent in this relationship, Goku needs to dtop FUCKING DYING.
Yeah she just wants my boy Gohan to be somebody she was cool with him fighting just if he made money. Remember she let goten and gohan fight in the world tournament for the prize money and goku fights for free Meals.
The kiss thing is an ANIME only thing. For the life of me I don't know who thought that was gonna be funny, it just made me really feel bad for Chi-chi
I agree it was a stupid thing and makes no sense at all. We can all agree that super sometimes makes no sense.

Nah, I still hate her. If this was really all that horrible for her, they had literal magical wish orbs that with a few exceptions and rules could do basically anything. She could have wished that she'd never had the idea to marry Goku in the first place, or that Goku knew what marriage was before they'd met. Hoo boy would that have screwed up the timeline and probably doomed the earth long-term, but she could have done it.
Gohan's been taken by Piccolo and we don't know where he is and desperately want him to come home? Wish to have him returned. (Again this would have had dire consequences later in the story but she still could have done it).
Cant stand the sight of Gohan or Goku getting beat up to the brink or even dying in fights? Wish for him/them to be immortal. Now he/they CAN'T die unless someone else wishes for him/them to NOT be immortal first.
Money was a problem? Wish to find an oil reservoir under their property or a large vein of gold and other precious metals or something to that effect. Or heck, just wish for lost pirate treasure if they don't want to mess up the economy by just wishing for money directly.
The Saiyen invaders? Wish for their transport pods' life supprot systems to malfunction while they're still a month or more away. Or for them to go off-course and hit the sun or go into a black hole or 'hit' Saturn or Jupiter.
Androids a threat? Wish for the Eternal Engines that supply them with endless energy to malfunction. After that they're glorified punching bags. Even Perfect Cell would be vulnerable since his energy excess mostly came from absorbing equipment from 17 and 18.
Want Gohan to know everything? Guess my suggestion. Though he'd probably resent her for that. There are some things that one tends to regret learning about.
Want him to be young again after he gets out of the Hyberbolic Time Chamber so you can actually enjoy him still being in childhood? Guess once more what I'd suggest. Great! You're seeing the pattern and point! You're smarter than Chi Chi and most of the Z Fighters! Give yourself a cookie!
Past the point where Goku saved her life, *almost* every negative big thing she's had to live through she's CHOSEN to put up with. Bulma has the Dragon Radar and Bulma's just a phone call or short Ki flight away. At Any Point where the wish orbs hadn't already been used in a year she could have wished for nearly anything. She didn't. That being the case, she has no one to be mad at but herself.
I ain't reading all that but I disagree.
If she leaves goku who else is she gonna date Yamcha? There is nobody else in the world that can handle her she loves goku so she stays. Yeah she doesn’t use the dragon balls, it’s not her character to. She never once made a wish on them even when stuff was grim. The dragon balls are plot devices they could all just wish for stuff and make their life easier but that would be too easy and we wouldn’t have a show.
