Look how quietly he dies. Just another small tragedy that no one will know about. Look how many dead bodies are in this story, placed randomly. We will never know how they died, what is their story. Just hanging in some random box, died alone.

that death is inevitable. One guy made a walkthrough where he knew it was a trap, but he tried to jump over it. Funny thing is...if it was in 3d, you could easily see it no prob. :) Where you surprised when his head went POP! ? I felt shocked. I didn't even know you could die. Man'o MAN was i the wrongest i've ever been in my life. Its like saying you can't die in dead space. Be glad you didn't see the crush death by steam pumps. That makes you want to say WTF out loud.
@ydneah13 Sorry, I meant that a horror game needs to be both gruesome and psychological. For me, the lack of music and distant echoes of the surroundings are very brooding and make me slightly unnerved to carry on. The gruesome death animations are there for a sudden kick of "holy hell!" moments, which add to the psychological elements to make you that much more tentative of your surroundings... I'm really not good at explaining what I mean, but I hope this makes sense ^_^
@ShiivaWilding I'm sry I don't understand. if it wasn't a morbid game the horror aspect would be entirely psychological? all horror games are based on psychology, they use things that would freak a normal person out as the "horror aspect".
@xDarkRegret in the game heart of darkness, your character, Andy dies gruesomely like in Limbo. not like you wanna see that but if you do thats cool. heart of darkness is a good platforming game that came out for the PC and PS1 around the 97 or 98.

the spider was creepy. that and the music gave me the same feelin that I got when I played Penumbra.
