The sparrow with practice could already avoid homing missiles the chaff is just a great addition for players who may not be the best pilots to annoy oppressor MK2 users I prefer the pyro it looks slow but can easily Dodge missiles then chase down the MK2 when they run to restock

Yo Putther, when you use the Sparrow, go to your game's camera settings and set the first person vehicle camera to "First person hood camera" it makes it SO much easier to kill players that way.
