I’m Alec Benjamin and this is my series called “Can I Sing For You” .. i went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to ask random people if I can sing for them. this is how I got started building my fan base .. going up to random people on the street, asking them if I could sing my songs for them, and handing out business cards .. i thought it’d be fun to go out and try it again ! let me know what you think

hey alec, you dont know me but im a song writer as well, and would love to do a jam session or just a session where we just vibe and see what we can come up with. i know you're probably never gonna see this, but it's worth a try. i first heard your music about last year, and i fell in love with it. our styles are similar, and you seem like an amazing person. im from michigan, so its pretty far, but if you ever come to detroit, chicago, or even kalamazoo (where im from) i would love to set something up. we could also do a virtual thing using facetime, zoom, or whatever you have (cause we're in the middle of a pandemic). And again, i know you're busy and have a lot to get done and have stuff to do, but if you have free time (after the pandemic is over or an irl thing, or just whenever, cause i have nothing to do) i would love to get together and see what we can write. I had an idea, that i would apply for songland and see if i can get my music out there. Of course, to do that, i'd want my best work going in, so i can make the most out of it. i'd love some help figuring everything out, and you could prolly teach me a lesson or two cause im very new to this all. anyways, i hope you're having a good quarantine and i wish you happiness and health :) - alayna

@@mirjam--4127 yeah you can tell by her body language. She's got her arms crossed around herself, which is the most common way to soothe/calm yourself in an uncomfortable situation because 1) it protects the organs and 2) it resembles the fetal position.
A lot of people think that if your arms are crossed you're being annoyed or rude, which people are occasionally, but typically it just means a situation is uncomfortable, or in some cases they feel threatened (though in this video that's obviously not the case).
