My favorite part of their interactions will always be when Pontius asks Eisenhorn to describe the taste and texture of the wine he's drinking. Such a small scene, but i cant help loving the writing. Truly Dan Abnett at his best.
I've listened to this several times today already, Longworth's voice is right up there with Mark Strong's voice for just fitting so damn well into the 40k setting, and how he can read two such distinctly different characters in this scene.
perhaps... but comparing Toby's voice for Gregor with Mark Strong's version (in the Eisenhorn: Xenos game) Mark's voice is letdown... probably due to the weird pauses between bits of dialogue... dialogue bit #1 pause pause dialogue bit #2 and so on... seemed too robotic to be a natural cadence of conversation
The trilogy is full of moments where you look at what Gregor has done, and think "how is that that we've come so far... and that it makes perfect sense?"

I’ve enjoyed WH40k for over two decades now. I’ve waxed and waned in my attentions of the hobby (books/lore only) many times over the years, as many enthusiasts do so when enjoying something over significant periods of time. I still recommend this clip to new people who are interested. It’s a 40k Sherlock & Moriarty. The format is familiar, but the setting twist and context has changed. It’s like a new twist on and old favorite cocktail. Goes down smooth *insert evil wink*. Also-the voice acting here is just stunning. The growling, the sighs, the twinned voices as Glaw is speaking. Monstrously enjoyable. I really hope to see more work from this group moving forwards.
I come back every now and then to relisten to this amazing masterpiece. Dan Abnett's writing, the artwork, the voice acting and the incredible music. All coming together to reach new heights Just amazing. It's criminal how little views this has!
Excellent job. Maybe a whatsiscalled again? Master cut? Of all of a particular character. Like you have done with Sinderman in the last vid and Eisenhorn here.. More or less. I keep trying to find the bits of Ayonid Thele. He's totally my favorite HH Character. Hands down. Thanks for the vids.

This video finally made me buy Eisenhorn trilogy. It is a nice read.
By the Emperor could this be even better ? Your music is making this audio worth listening a thousand times over !
Thank You!

Eisenhorn sure knows hot to cross the line with a truck.

@@Sinewmire Well it's not a triology anymore, it's a tetralogy since 2018 ^^
Yes, though there wasn't enough Gregor in it.:D

Longworth knew how to make such an intimidating voice for a villain like Glaw. Him and Andrew Wincott are the best
Just finished reading the Eisonhorn trilogy the other day.
What an amazing read.
Indeed, it is my favourite non-astartes 40K story.
toby longworths voice is just so good, i could listen to him narrate every book in 40k and still come right back for more

I have now found my favorite source for Dark Heresy background music
The Eisenhorn series is so good
The voice modulation on Pontius reminds me of Darth Malak for some reason. Such an amazing scene.
Just finished The Magos. What a fantastic series and a great protagonist. Thanks for making this

Just finished the Magos audiobook while painting. This is sending shivers along my spine, well done.
Thank You!
I can’t wait for this scene to be adapted in the tv show.
this wouldnt have happened if he invested in Servitor Inc.
I picked up the trilogy the day after listening to this. Excellent so far.
This deserves more atttention.
we desire more knoledge
That cliffhanger left me wanting more.
Awesome again, I hope we see more of these from you
Thank You! I intend to do more indeed. Mechadendrites crossed they won't get yeeted.
you sir are DA bomb! Omnissiah bless you for the amazing music you make and for these awesome videos!
Thank You so much!
Will you ever do a music for Dark Coil? Maybe a music for Fire Caste that fits Phaedra. If you didn't read them I HIGHLY recommend them.
I have never heard of those, but will check out, thanks!
So this is why the inquisition massacred my regiment

Why do I know his voice so well?
He voiced a lot... I know the voice I think from games too..
Its Toby Longworth, he voices a lot of 40k books and some games.
The line.. ..between mankind and man unkind..
I think of that a lot
utterly profound isn't it, the line between good and evil, where is it, does it even exist? what do you think?
Bravo another banger
masterful
Thought it said Eisenstein not Eisenhorn. I blame the whiskey.
That was a good book too:)
Jason Isaacs, would make a great Eisenhorn.
