Hi! Can you recommend a trick on how to reconcile Shopify invoices in Xero? I'm currently extracting statements then modifying it to excel then upload it at Xero as CSV, but its kind of time consuming.
The best trick is to use A2X. Once you set it up, you just need to click a button to reconcile to the funds landing in your account. We've been using them for nearly a decade.

What’s coming down the pike with videos or podcasts?
I had to take a major hiatus, but I'm happy to say that videos will be resuming probably in the next week or two. :) I don't see podcasts in my future, but never say never.
Interesting, I dump the data into Excel with macros to reconcile. I thought the these accounting cloud system would handle the syn well, it appears not. Thank you for the video. With excel, quantity of orders is not an issue, as there are formulas and macro to handle this. I guess enter a summary line in the cloud for the sake of MTD HMRC.
That's how we used to do it, and it can be fine for low volumes of sales. In short, it works until it doesn't, but I'm glad it's working for you.
Is it required to create an invoice for each order?
No. In fact, I highly recommend against it if you want your business to scale and grow. It quickly becomes unwieldy and can crush your system.

We don't recommend this approach.
