I really wish I could, but I cannot legally do this, because mashups contain copyrighted music. If you see any of my mashups on these platforms, it wasn’t posted by me, and will likely be taken down due to copyright infringement (as most of them have been)
Some people have actually uploaded my mashups on these platforms _officially_ (not even as a podcast, but as a real song and artist) and attempted to make real money from them. That is not only illegal, but also extremely unfair to me, as I’m not even allowed to profit from my own mashups, nor have I ever.
Moral of the story, I cannot upload my mashups to Spotify or Apple Music. But I’m glad many of you enjoy the mashup so much! 🤍

Britney was the *executive* producer of ‘Blackout’ (the album Gimme More appeared on) which means she oversaw the entire creative process, direction, and sound. She picked the producers she wanted to work with herself, and I’m sure she had a certain vision in mind. In fact, the urban/electronic/dance direction reflects the music she was most likely exposed to at the time when she was driving around L.A. at night, clubbing. If it wasn’t for Britney, Gimme More just wouldn’t exist-at least not in the form that we know and love today.
