I still have my original discs, so install was easy, but to make it work on Windows 10 you have to copy and paste a text document into the AppData file. I found a very good step-by-step video here RUclips. Here's the link:

He doesn't mention it in the video but the same edited text document also works for BFME 2 and Rise of the Witch King.
