I actually went to the golden nugget shark pool and almost drowned. My mom though there would be a little shallow area, but no. Luckily my instincts kicked in and tried to go to a ledge to stay alive then the lifeguard saved me.

I almost drowned in a wave pool, and I was an expert swimmer...almost got my lifeguard certification. I had my 2 nephews on a floating plastic raft. Trying to keep them on the raft...and not to drown...almost took me down. I couldn't get us trapped in the waves... out of the high and powerful waves. Not until they turned off the wave machine were we safe. We escaped with our lives. Never again!!!
This past summer my family and I went to Soaky Mountain Waterpark in Pigeon Forge, TN. The wave pool there was very dangerous, they make kids put on life vests. More frightening than that was the lazy river... yes, I said lazy river. They had it with huge waves (like a wave pool) some people were just walking the river while those on rafts were carried away in the waves, hitting other rafts and flipping them over. It was a disaster, as soon as we got around back to the entrance I made the (cough cough ) excuse that I needed to use the rest room. It was just too much and with way too many people, someone could lose a life in there easily. I hope to never go back...AGAIN.

In order for the malfunction to happen something would be wrong with it and the staff didn’t know if there’s something wrong with a machine then something will happen sometimes it doesn’t go down well and people can actually get seriously hurt

I fell off the edge at the Devils Pool & I survived!! I hit my head on the way down but luckily I didn’t land on any rocks at the bottom! They didn’t have lifeguards to jump down and save me and I kept yelling for help but nobody heard me over the sound of the waterfall. Eventually I got out the water & gathered the strength to hike around & back up to the high lands but when I got there they started treated me like I’m Jesus who resurrected 💪🏽
The shark pool seems relatively safe consider that sand tiger sharks don't generally attack people and that there is a protective barrier between you and the sharks
Just to let you guys know, no one has ever died from swimming at the Devil’s Pool Victoria Falls except an incident happened in 2009 a tour guide fall to his death trying to rescue his client who slipped in a channel.
For those which want to know The slide with the sharks moves so fast that, whilst outside looks incredible, inside is so fast you don't even notice when you go through the shark section. It blends in with the rest of the slide.
I think the scariest pool I’ve been to was a Columbus zoo and water park pool, the wave pool, I once went under water in a wave there but came out unscathed
