Your detailed analysis of crude oil prices is informative. Due to lockdown in most countries in the world, crude oil prices toppled down that started price war.

This helped me understand why these two crude oil giants have started this. This is the lowest price for curde oil after 1999. This video explained everything clearly and how this has impacted the economies across the globe.

US oil has never traded negative since data is available. Previously, the price of crude oil had already fallen to record lows since futures contracts began trading in 1983.

You just put some pictures in this video to explain the naration, it's really good idea and very interesting. I thought the price get lower because there's no demand for oil in this situation, this pandemi makes every country trying to focus on their health issue

As oil price collapse this is the right time for countries like Philippines or Japan to buy those cheap oil, stock it until the time price stabilize then they save a lot of money from it.

there are tariffs which could be applied temporarily to limit the utter destruction of Americas oil industry. If applied and gradually faced out could provide a time based buffer for US companies to deal with the shock at a time of great stress.
Another, more extreme weapon, would be to sanction Aramco and make it harder for them to find a buyer willing to risk taking delivery. None of this is good in any way-shape-or-form but extreme times require extreme measures.
The timing of this price war is a clear sign that Saudi Arabia has thrown the gauntlet at Trump.
While I love low oil prices in general, sub zero prizes are just insane and a sign that the market for the time being is broken.

Interesting information, since the drop in oil prices has greatly affected the oil-producing countries, whose main economy depends on the import of this oil. Due to the situation, very serious measures must be taken to stop the world collapse. it has seriously affected.

Unfortunately for us Venezuelans, oil has been a bad thing that did not happen because of oil we abandoned other fields that today would be saving us in the midst of this crisis due to low oil prices.

We need more legit analysis like this, so that we can prepare ourselves for the upcoming period. There's a lot of turmoil coming. Should we expect an escalation and a debt / currency war as well?

I call it a story more than an analysis. Saudi Arabia continue flooding the market with oil even today, they haven't stop since the beginning of the price war.
It's hard to tell, as explained in the video, 75% of revenue of their country were made on top of Oil exportation. They are gambling with their country. If they happen to have a similar contracts like the Russia and China has. Gaining market shares are not their first priority anymore.
I would like to create more video like this, but it took me 80 hours to complete. 😒

I suppose they need to concentrate on the product itself and not the container. The production of the container should be minimal and prioritize the necessary product. It makes no sense fluctuating the Oil cost with the bases of external costs like containers and transportation costs.

The Russia-Saudi Arabia oil price war of 2020 is an economic war triggered in March 2020 by Saudi Arabia in response to Russia's refusal to reduce oil production in order to keep prices for oil at moderate level, since its consumption fell dramatically due to 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic
