The story of this production and tour is truly remarkable. It’s worth a moment to read about how this particular group came together and what it meant for them to put on this play. Gratitude to all involved-thanks for posting.
Two men waiting for something, trying to grasp what they already have while wasting their time waiting for some other person to give them something. Estragon even says they should strike while the iron is hot, not waste time waiting for someone that might never even show his face. And the irony? Godot never shows his face. Sounds like our hope and dreams. Abstractions that keep us locked where we are, inside our own heads.

Godot is something like a landlord (the boys talk about him)his name is associated with God ,associatively ,in the minds of these 2 who don't have a good memory. He is the one they expect to save them, to the one who did their plea as they say at the beginning. But we don't know, really, what the true relationship of these three is.
I saw a remarkable performance of this starring two puppets made out of discarded furniture without any dialogue
where?
Got your point. It's garbled rubbish, anyway. Very much a case of 'The Emperor's New Clothes' as seen by fake intellectuals.
Stuffing to be done.

“I once knew a family named gotzo, their mother had the clap.” Favorite joke in the play by far
Can you explain it to me please? 🥲 English is not my native language
@@mary3723 English is my native but I don't find it funny. The clap is an STD. I'm not sure what the joke is.

Yes but while waiting?

Endgame and this are my favourites!
Amazing idea for workshop!👍😊
I thought Bud Thorpe, the actor playing Vladimir, was Gene Wilder at first! The physicality and especially the voice.

Such a Sad Play

I met Samuel Beckett after he died and before I was born; he didn't say anything about this play. In fact, he didn't say anything. Ever.
Nietsche, in the afterlife, said that this is the very abyss that he was talking about.
when was this published

Is this a man stuck in his pshcye beacuse of things he did trying to find a way out of the hell that is their own mind?
