Howdy! Fellow SoCal denizen here. I was up at lytle creek twice in the last 2 weeks. Each on the weekends. I recognized half of where you went. You went a diffetent route than I did. I was up there in my stock jeep renegade. Only upgrade on it at the moment are my tires. I put on Falken wild peak A/T trails. Great tires for my little donkey. Lol. I plan on going back maybe this weekend.
@@Libertatem_Vel_Mortem careful that’s what I use to run and the rocks seem to tear the sidewalls up great looking tire had to replace mine three times luckily I had warranty. After the fourth set, I decided to go with open country AT3 … but yes, get out there and have fun. I might go camping near truck Haven, but we will see
@ThomasStudios17 Hi. Thanks for the reply. Truck haven? I plan rigging my 2020 renegade for some short-term car camping at some point (work in process). Toyos, huh? How do you like them in snow?
Great video man 👍🏽 The trail looks pretty good right now, thinking I might take a drive out there this weekend. Better safe than sorry is the motto when driving alone
I'd like to know which way you went. I recognize half of it...I've only been up there twice so far. The first was Thanksgiving day morning (I was surprised how busy it was that early) and then just last weekend. I dinged up my muffler a bit the first time around going through the creek bed at the start, even though I have 9.1" of ground clearance on my renegade. Some body panel clips were sheared off, but easily replaced. Lol. I brought my buddy and his baby girl the second visit in his Daihatsu. It was fun, although we had to turn around half way as his baby was getting cranky. Lol. Was a fun day for everyone. Keep on trailin"!🎉❤
Got some fake wood inside to knock on to make sure them dash lights stay off?😂 Cold Water Canyon, I haven't been up since the fire. The next time I go up I'd like to take my Sidekick, my ZJ doesn't have to hard a time on the trail but the Suzuki is stock.
@@TheRealDjSilk Idownloaded onX Off-road onto my phone which goes through Apple CarPlay through the unit then on the bottom right corner has a track button
