Really? From a sound perspective or from a serviceability perspective? I was thinking to myself that it cannot get any easier to work on but the sound quality is just "different" than my Marantz and Pioneer units. My hearing isn't what it used to be but I didn't hear anything "remarkable" from the NAD.
@@TheMakerShopTech some marantz are very high quality for sure but they're the outliter in marantz line up . NAD pronounced Nad was expensive in it's day and highly regarded. I did actually wonder if you were saying that from an actual technician point of view , which is interesting to note 👍
@@declassified1 so far, NAD has been my favorite amplifier to work on due to the simplicity and accessibility of everything. Such a pleasure to work on. Unlike some others that will not be mentioned right now.
@@TheMakerShopTech that's good know . Bit of thought gone into the tech design as well as sound quality 👍.. not so much super high end as reliable and consistent.. like Denon
I love your dim bulb tester…❤
Thank you! I should probably make a video on it. It's my second revision of the prototype and I've already changed it again.
I'd put NAD way above marantz or pioneer

Is that an IBM think sign?
Yes. I've had it for many years and I found it in a box the other day. Decided it would be appropriate to put up on the bench. Thanks for watching!
