These are great! The Moving Parts premium line always gives me a bit of a sarcastic chuckle. Moving parts were just how they pretty much all came when I was a kid.
I have to agree! I’m hoping that Matchbox will keep it up because they are doing great lately. I have to say Matchbox 2023 was very good as well and many people complained about that year. They should have complained even more with Matchbox 2013, 2014 & 2015. Those were the proper extreme worst years that Matchbox ever had. It used to be Matchbox 2003 & 2004 were the worst years but 2013, 2014 & 2015 surpassed those two years and they became the worst.
I think matchbox has been crushing it. I’ve been saying most if not all of the basics come with head and tail lights painted on when hot wheels don’t have them. I hate having to paint them on. Lol. These are all great cars. Thanks for sharing and have a good day sir.
I really love Matchbox. Can't say I love them more than Hot Wheels but I definitely love them a lot. So many awesome casting and this year they're killing it.
Love the Moving Parts line from Matchbox! I can't get enough of them. Been finding quite a few of the Collector line up here in Canada as well. If there's a message I'd like to get thru to Mattel it's this, keep 'em coming! 🙌🏽
IMO, Matchbox is outperforming Hot Wheels! Wish you still unboxed the Mainline Matchbox cars! Still, great unboxing for the upcoming Moving Parts for #MatchboxMonday!
I never though I would see a bizzerini in toy cars. Car and driver or road and track did an article back in the 80's on a sky blue bizz... just beautiful... a must have matchbox.
Matchbox Is Killing it this year, Bringing Back Opening Parts is one of The best things they have done. matchbox also does so much different things you can collect and so much interchangeable things with what they do. Like mixing up Basic and Moving parts with Collectors which I love So A++++ From Me to Matchbox. They Have so Much they can do, I think there is no need to redo a lot of the same cars with a different paint job after a few months after it’s first release, To much castings They DONT Re visit , and they need to do more.
Matchbox basics distribution has been horrible in my area this year yet Moving Parts stock has been outstanding (in reference to Target and Fred Meyer). Was unable to find the Collector's Bugatti Divo but I've seen every other model from the first 2 Collector's mixes so I'm hoping to find the Audi and BMW from this mix.
Matchbox absolutely buries Hot Wheels when it comes to their basic range, it's not even a close contest. Better scale, detail, proportions, tampo clarity, and wheel styles. HW doesn't even do moving parts, so MB wins there by default. The collectors line is great, with tons of variety and some with moving parts, much better than the same ole JDM crap over and over and over again.
I'll have to disagree. Speaking of the basic range, I can't stand their model with just straight black plastic windows, makes it feel like a dollar store 5 pack car. In addition, like the new Porsche carrera, it's supposed to be a targa top but the whole roof is just clear! A lot of models have just put me off on making Match ox superior to hot wheels (their premium lines are also a whole different story).
You're right but the Matchbox orange packaging is so ugly it makes me watch to stab my eyes out with a fork, and as a keep it carder collector it is simply unforgivable. That being said though, when Matchbox does themed or custom card art, it usually looks pretty dope. Just their standard card art should be changed and the person in charge of that should have been fired years ago
Matchbox does some things better than Hot Wheels. The same is true vise versa. I like that Matchbox does everyday cars, but Hot Wheels encapsulates the racing culture. I certainly think Hot Wheels does chases better than Matchbox (which are always the exact same color).
What do I think? I think these are lovely and I'd love to get some, if anywhere stocked anything more than matchbox basic range around me. I think Mattel is pushing me to use ebay or just not get what they make and that someone high up doesn't understand that this anti-consumer artificial rarity shit is going to bite them back eventually.
I love Matchbox, it's what I grew up on. I noticed you don't have dividers on your plastic case double slots. I recently found Dayton Diecast Slot Dividers.
Matchbox is doing a really fine job. It is just that Mattel make a "Elite" series for Hot Wheels... Matchbox is making really fine models and as long as I understand it is a result of Abe Lugo work. The Audi Coupe is definetely a great model, specially the color and details like the chrome bumpers. On the Collectors series the Audi is the champion and really close (for me at least) is the Ford Hot Rod with those white wheels. On the Moving Parts series, the Bizzarrini is the champion and the Riviera goes not too far from the Mercedes van. The Seagrave Fire Truck lather detail is welcome but the lather shouldn't came out. So my personal podium from this video has the Bizzarrini on top and the Audi then. Cheers!
I'm a huge fan of Matchbox. I do real wheel swaps on mainline cars, opening parts lines, and the collector lines. Most of the Matchbox mainline cars I have modified put most Hot Wheels mainlines to shame. I also like the fact that most of the $1.18 MB cars come with full tampos for the headlights and taillights. The same can't be said about HW's. I've also started pulling away from most of the HW RLC cars because the graphics and detailing is way better on the Mini GT and Kaido House lines. It just seems like better value. I'm still a HW fan, but they really need to step up their game. That dot matrix printing on the premiums looks horrible in my opinion. The silver line of HW's is where it's at. With a simple wheel swap and a little bit of brake cleaner to remove the raceing tampos, you get an amazing looking car.
Well here my opinion matchbox is doing amazing ever since Japanese casting are showing up more often compared to few years back .. ones again my opinion
I've stopped buying hot wheels since I started buying matchbox😅 I just feel like hot wheels don't feel the same to me, I just bought the Matchbox moving parts Lancer Evo 4, and it's amazing
I’ve always liked Matchbox because they never stopped making airplanes. Hot wheels airplanes have never been very desirable to me until they did the tornado and the tomcat recently. I want to see a lot more detail accurate airplanes from HW.
Of course mbx is betting HW tis year in regards of new castings. In main basic lines, silver line and premium of HW are repeating to much previous models. Mbx has made more new casting in there basic, moving parts and premium lately.
Matchbox is doing homeruns where Hot wheels just keep re-releasing the same models. Just curious about something, has the Buick station wagon been released yet?
I love the 80's & 90"s Matchbox cars way better but some in the last few years i like I just Picked up Moving Parts 2022 alfa Romeo Stelvio didn't like the black rims so i did them White makes it pop better I like the Gold Mercedes Benz with wheels like that i fill it in My Walmart & Dollarama stores are filled with matchbox Cars Wow i want that BMW M3 love it can't wait both
Wish they repaint the ford roadster in red asap so we’d have an accurate enough version of the McGee roadster to complete the modified car trio in the National Historic Vehicle Registration (Hirohata Merc and Gypsy Rose done by Hotwheels previously)
Ok, this is my take. I grew up with matchbox back in the late 60s and 70s. The cars were, your dad’s car, the cars you saw on the roads, the work trucks etc. Hot Wheels were cars you never seen, cal customs, unreal looking, bent wheels, and they got worse through the 80s. Matchbox goes bankrupt, eventually gets picked up by Mattel. Now they seem like baby toys. Too small, too thin yada yada. The Hot Wheels premium cars, boulevard, car culture etc, would’ve been what Matchbox of old would’ve evolved into today. When I look at Hot Wheels prem’s, with the all diecast tooling, the accuracy of the cars we actually see on the roads, it’s almost like, to me, that Hot Wheels took the torch and ran with it. And they do it well. I would like to see Matchbox do the same. All diecast, real riders, better accuracy. Maybe they will, who knows.
These are great!
The Moving Parts premium line always gives me a bit of a sarcastic chuckle. Moving parts were just how they pretty much all came when I was a kid.
Ya i collected matchbox as a kid and most purchases were based on what the vehicle could do. not just a plain old vehicle.
No doubt, 2024 is a banner year for Matchbox. So many fantastic new castings.
I think that Matchbox has come back from the Tyco Era.
Very well done. Lots of new models especially with moving parts.
This is By Far the best year for Matchbox in a long time that Model A Ford is Unbelievably nice!
I love the direction matchbox is heading. Love it!
That Collector Audi is pretty much perfect. Nice! And I love that Ford Roadster with the white hubs.
I think matchbox has been crushing it. I’ve been saying most if not all of the basics come with head and tail lights painted on when hot wheels don’t have them. I hate having to paint them on. Lol. These are all great cars. Thanks for sharing and have a good day sir.
Yes! Matchbox has been amazing recently! Moving parts is a favorite of mine. I try to get Collectors, but my area rarely gets any.
Got the Honda couple weeks ago and got the sprinter today. This mix is a really nice set. Going to be watching out for the unimog 😊
That '32 Ford is a must, must, must have for me❤
Picked up the '32 and the M3 tonight here in the UK. '32 is unreal. So well executed
The '32 looks nice!. I wish Matchbox would have narrowed the front wheels and used rubber.
IMO, Matchbox is outperforming Hot Wheels! Wish you still unboxed the Mainline Matchbox cars! Still, great unboxing for the upcoming Moving Parts for #MatchboxMonday!

Can't wait to get my hands on that Unimog!
I’m digging the new matchbox a lot. I think they all look fantastic so far from what I saw.
I got the Matchbox jaguar XJ8. The execution of the curve is perfect. Awesome weight distribution. Matchbox really nailed it.
Welcome back Matchbox Monday's!
I like the realistic look of even matchbox mainline they just look better in my opinion
I'm getting a Ford Capri, Opel Kadett, Mitsubishi Lancer Celeste, Toyota Celica GT vibe from that Audi. LOVE IT!!
1932 Ford Roadster my favorite👍🏼
YES!!!! every year for the past few years!!!
door gap is terrible
Matchbox basics distribution has been horrible in my area this year yet Moving Parts stock has been outstanding (in reference to Target and Fred Meyer). Was unable to find the Collector's Bugatti Divo but I've seen every other model from the first 2 Collector's mixes so I'm hoping to find the Audi and BMW from this mix.
That Bizzarrini Corsa looks outstanding! I really hope to get that one when the next batch of Opening Parts shows up here!
Just blows me away what ur collection is. Obviously never put a value on ur collection but wow, it's up there
Omg those matchbox looks insane especially the roadster ❤ very good designs from matchbox 😊
That storage cases are amazing and your colection better
From what I've read about the Bizzarini brand, it's the closest thing to Ferrari that Mattel has released since losing the Ferrari license in 2014
I look forward to the Seagrave for my El Segundo Fire collection!
Love your vids. I'm a Matchbox fan

@@BaDArxz MB chases have come in a variety of colors, HW premium chases are always black.
@@VladimirBlarp I meant mainline chases (super treasure hunts)
The metal baseplates are nice.
What do I think? I think these are lovely and I'd love to get some, if anywhere stocked anything more than matchbox basic range around me. Finally sum Real fire from matchbox. And more to come. Keep up the good work guys.❤
I love Matchbox, it's what I grew up on. I noticed you don't have dividers on your plastic case double slots. I recently found Dayton Diecast Slot Dividers.
I have a moving parts of the Honda S2000 in red. also glad I held off on the red Riviera the rose colored one is so true to the era of the car.
for god sake how I love matchbox's decision to cast bizzarini! I mean just no one except autocult or matrix know this brand and god it looks gorgeous!
MBX are pretty good for the price. Hotwheels is still my #1
Hi @LamleyGroup can we please have a video with Ken Dotson? Would be great to see the man that has given us so much joy over the years.
Matchbox is doing a really fine job. It is just that Mattel make a "Elite" series for Hot Wheels... Matchbox is making really fine models and as long as I understand it is a result of Abe Lugo work. I like the shell BMW.🔥
Although the hood opening is wrong with the E30, but goddamn it is a thing of beauty!

Definitely liking the Matchbox.
I love matchbox but sometimes they have to put correct tires on correct items
Just started to collect them very nice
Well here my opinion matchbox is doing amazing ever since Japanese casting are showing up more often compared to few years back .. ones again my opinion
Hot Wheels are a toy that people collect. Matchbox is a collectible that can also be played with.
Both are toys owned by Mattel
I was waiting for someone to comment on that.
both are Mattel product and both are toys
Most of these are so well executed 😎
Except the Merc?! 😅
@@onesixfourshowroom yup 😂
I wonder where you got those clear cases from.
I bought mine from Bunnings but each only hold 12.
Sweet Jesus ... that gray Audi.
That Bizzarrini is stunning.
I just bought the Bizzarrini. Matchbox is out of control. Thanks Lamley 👍
Matchbox is Mattel's rolex in small cars
HW is the casio with premium editions
In Germany Hot Wheels premiums are generally 10 euro, but Matchbox moving parts are 5 euro. Definitely Matchbox deserves its price.
I collect both. Love the roadster best!!!
I like the moving parts I just wish they can handle my better because it's distracting to see it not lined up on the car
Some of the BMW M3s of that era do have the hood opening the other way on some race cars
11:10 It's the easiest thing in the world to paint these wheels the way they should look. You're gonna have a stunner.
Definitely gonna buy the M3 and MB Van if I see them in Walmart.
I've stopped buying hot wheels since I started buying matchbox😅 I just feel like hot wheels don't feel the same to me, I just bought the Matchbox moving parts Lancer Evo 4, and it's amazing
That Audi is just something else, I think Matchbox is doing a much better job than HotWheels' toy-looking castings.
i like both but i honestly prefer the vintages of both yet ive noticed matchbox doing cool stuff recently
You know what would be awsome? To find them hanging on the pegs in my country, greetings from Greece!
So the hood doesn't stay up on the Bizzarinni ? When its on the rotating display the hood is down ?
Colored it nicely 👀 i wouldn't say it has a ton of detail 😂
Hello. Where did you get the storage boxes? Can you tell me the exact name of them?
Is the baseplate metal on the Roadster?
I’ve always liked Matchbox because they never stopped making airplanes. Hot wheels airplanes have never been very desirable to me until they did the tornado and the tomcat recently. I want to see a lot more detail accurate airplanes from HW.
are you ever going to do a Tomica Premium? TLV is great but premium line is more affordable.
Just looking for Mazdas. That RX-3 looking good. Are you using the word chassis as opposed to "base" now? lol great video.
The only problem with the Audi is the black plastic window, the mold itself looks awesome
Just curious about something, has the Buick station wagon been released yet?
where to buy those nice storage boxes
what are those transparent cases for loose cars?
Matchbox did a great job but no colors or models I'm interested in.
I love the 80's & 90"s Matchbox cars way better but some in the last few years i like
I just Picked up Moving Parts 2022 alfa Romeo Stelvio didn't like the black rims so i did them White makes it pop better
I like the Gold Mercedes Benz with wheels like that i fill it in
My Walmart & Dollarama stores are filled with matchbox Cars
Wow i want that BMW M3 love it can't wait both
Wish they repaint the ford roadster in red asap so we’d have an accurate enough version of the McGee roadster to complete the modified car trio in the National Historic Vehicle Registration (Hirohata Merc and Gypsy Rose done by Hotwheels previously)
Matchbox leaps and bounds ahead of Hotwheels with thier basic range
Is the Unimog a chase?, has that logo
Ironically here in the UK Matchbox are harder to find than Hot Wheels. Only really appear in larger Toy stores.
moving parts is my current favourite matchbox lineup. make boxes of 12 plz
Was that a station wagon in your sneak peak box???
I mean I always get matchbox some castings are great!
Is the mercedes unimog u300 a chase version?
Ok, this is my take.

German? That’s a ford model A roadster. The Audi 100 s looks great and the bizzarini looks great as well
Great models the audi and roadster also the sprinter
Always been matchbox for me since I got my first one in 1964
It's been hit miss in Australian.
Gotta have the 32 roadster , clean
Thankx for the show == the mb Mercedes Benz sprinter is Awesome 🩵🩷
Not in my book, but that's based on the poor stocking. For some reason Walmart rarely restock Matchbox
I love the wheels
Need that Audi.
When i was a kid. Matchbox is heavier and got the details of carsm imiss my cars i gave them away and i got that feelihg i should habe kept it
Want the Audi, that's a dope ah casting
