Looks good man...nice work! I'm watching to try to force myself to make time to work on my 55 , but I am just too busy with customer stuff and my own projects just sit waiting. Keep it up man...bring that thing back to life!!....and yes , the emblem is V8 only. You can also tell an original V8 car by the V.I.N. # starting with a V.....at least that's the way I remember.
@@vintagehotrods Thanks for getting back to me. The pieces you used would at least be a start. I’m sure something could be fabled to close the gap between that and the tail panel (which the car I’m looking at needs).
You can buy the lower sections new from restoration world out of ohio Fairly cheap. These are beat and filled with bondo. I do believe the website is resto-world.com.
Excellent job
i always wanted to see a business coupe made from a 2dr sedan. roof is 6 inches shorter and profile like a htp
Nice work I really enjoy watching your progress. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing what walking away will do sometimes! 10 times easier the next day!
Yup! That is hard to remember some times lol
Looks like a nice car...appears to be an original 210 Delray...an "almost Bel Air".
It is a delray model!
Your gas is really coming along good looks fantastic love your videos keep making them I'll keep watching them thanks
We will keep them coming! And thank you we appreciate it!

Hopefully it gives you some motivation! I have a few projects of my own so i get it. Hard to get em done with working on customer stuff all the time.
Well done, binge watching!!
Really weird they didn't have the tall panel welded to the trunk pan. Must just be seem sealed and that's it.
Great work. Really looking good. You are right about the V emblems only being on factory V8 cars.
👊😎👍 👉🇺🇸👈
Those emblems are cool. I'd love to find alot of old 3mblems to hang on my wall in the garage
Dang ! I wish I would have watched this before I did mine , Some good tips in here .
From what I understand trim is stupid expensive now!
Trim is really affordable for the 57s. I have never looked into 55 trim.
Thanks, I thought they were more like windshield trim
Nice job.
Are those corner patch pieces available for the 55 Nomad? I’ve searched the web but no luck yet
Nope i dont believe they are. Best bet is to modify these or get some from a wagon. A lot of that stuff isnt very well represented for the nomad.
