    When you tested the breaks to find out if they were working your body shot forward forcing you to go to standing up position. That happens regularly to all cyclists when breaking sharply and often the saddle nose can catch your delicate parts (males mostly - ouch!). It is for that reason I use a noseless saddle which takes a bit of time to get used to but gives a pain free ride especially when breaking..

      I like looking at the surrounding area where he lives. I lived in South Wales valleys many years ago before moving to the forest of dean just across the border. I still miss cycling in Wales despite the massive hills everywhere.

    On the Engwe P20 adverstisement it shows a couple pushing the bike while folded. For me with joint problems that would be a welcome design feature. Not having to carry the bike when transitioning to indoor buildings and trains ect. But does the bike really perform like that over say 100m?

    • @baconbuttties
      @baconbuttties  2 месяца назад +2

      I'm not sure how it would be over 100m

    So when you fold it, it can't fold entirely ? Looks like the handlebars is stuck in the middle and the wheels can't connect with the magnet.

      Not if you fold it and drop the handle bars down the outside…which is I think how it should be done

    How do you get the throttle going please Mr Bacon? One I have doesn’t seem to be enabled. cheers

    • @baconbuttties
      @baconbuttties  7 месяцев назад

      Usually on Engwe bikes its hold brake and throttle fully pressed while turning on bike and holding the brake and throttle on for 10 seconds

    Do the skiiny tyres help the freewheeling compared to the fat tyre Engwes?

    • @JudeTheYoutubePoopersubscribe
      @JudeTheYoutubePoopersubscribe 8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes it would coast better because the rolling resistance is significantly lower on these than fat tires. Also smaller motor hub would have less resistance so that also contributes.

    • @baconbuttties
      @baconbuttties  8 месяцев назад +2

      Yes it freewheels much easier and is also easier to pedal.

      With fat tyres, the more rubber in contact with road, the more friction it will generate and therefore greater rolling resistance.
      Only go for fat tyres if you really need them, or if you think they're really cool (which they are!)🙌

    The ebike speed restrictions are nonsensical, just like pretty much everything else our government comes up with.
    And yes, I know it came from the EU originally.

      I have seen some cyclists travelling way too fast while cycling in busy high street shopping areas. Those of us who cycle safely must condemn the minority who don't act responsibly. Some RUclipsrs ride their electric bikes way too fast on shared pathways (not this chap btw). We should encourage safe cycling so the laws don't need to be too strict. EU laws are great but now we can't even cycle there due to Brexit.

    • @Dee-md5qn
      @Dee-md5qn 2 месяца назад +1

      Didn’t understand your comment we go by EU rules we’re out of the EU. We should be making enough our own rules 750 W and under you can register the bikes if you want but no more than that., and sunny 28 miles an hour any more than that you can class it as an electric motorbike again we’re out of the EU. Why should EU rules be implied in the UK? Government and previous government are pushing EV vehicles the minute people start using them, they’re calling them death traps, abhorrent machines you could not make it up
