    5:50 What node did you use? before the transformation 2D

      It's a gradient perfect but you can just use the gradient 1, works the same way.

    Thank you for your tutorials! I had to do feathers at work some time ago, and my result was far from great. Now I can see my mistakes. So thank you one more time!
    By the way, it seems like you have some isues with 'curvature smooth' node. Setting normal node tiling mode to 'Absolute' solved this problem for me.

      Thank you very much! Good catch for the curvature smooth! I didn't even realize it, as I made use of the NormaltoHeightHQ node instead. But yeah, setting the curvature smooth tiling mode to absolute did the trick. Great tip!
