I saw the blue chip ratio numbers too. When transfers are included, our ratio drops a little and we rank 6th. I have not seen an updated 247 total team talent rating, but based on past years and what we added and lost, we will probably be in the mid to lower top 10 there. The bottom line is OU has enough talent to challenge for a playoff spot with our schedule if the pieces come together under the new staff. A national title would be a bit of a stretch, but fewer than 9-10 wins would be disappointing.
Everyone is hyper fixated on us having a new coach and new systems, but they forget the talent level is still there, in a big way, compared to the rest of the Big 12. This isn't a rebuild job.
We are going to be alright 👍 because if y'all is still crying over SOFT Lincoln, well am here to tell you that we wasn't going to win jack with him under in control. If you know anything about football I seen that in his first year that he wasn't the one for me. #1 he was too SOFT, couldn't adjust in games and after the first 2 quarter he really didn't have nothing to show. And to me he wasn't a good recruiter because em players that he was getting didn't really impress me, now he was a good qb coach, but after that I didn't see it. He was more like an offensive coordinator
amazing anyone could think this OU team is a playoff contender. how many years of getting detonated in the post season with elite qbs has it been. and now 50% new, new coach and a mid major qb who is good but c'mon guys. give it a minute. you think that this team could field with Bama or OSU. "a few key guys" yeah I guess you could put it that way. they may have won 10 reg season games but had 4 near misses. Tulane, tx, ks, neb. just not a dominant team. not close. I agree it will change but this isn't some national power this season. really. lol whole different type of ball being played. OU has a long long way to go. interesting stat but it hasn't translated. ou's record these last seasons is deceiving because of how bad the conference is. this is proven when they get absolutely beat in all phases badly in the cfp.

We should be in the NC picture with that talent no matter who the coach is.
Dillion is the guy for this team

Stars matter however they are not the All to end All.
Heart counts. Peace
I don't think it's the blue chip ratio that's the most telling number about this team. The telling number is 40% have never played a game for OU.
Hold now I like Dillon Gabriel but jim over Josh Heupel I take Josh 100%
They are ready! Boomer Sooner! Tbow quit mid-season. He lost those 2 games on purpose.
🤪
