You’re negative wire in the harness is closer to the edge ! I’ll make sure that’s that way I was clipping it in ! My BMS has little + & - on it the finger nail clip to unclip it is on top .
I had the same problem but for me the wiring was correct, I disconnected and reconnect the Bluetooth dongle and then it suddenly worked. Thank you for a good video by the way.
Hi Rob, I have a 16S 48V Daly BMS. Can I test it with only 4 Cells? At the moment I not have a charger for my whole Battery. I have a power supply for a 12V system. I've tried to test it with my 4 cells. But when I put on my power supply, the bms won't start up.
i have the 16s 250a w\fan. it don't have any wires other than the white clip at the end. all is wired correct but how to get it to turn on? app dont see it.

I have the same set up pretty much I put 54.7v to the BMS on my multiple meter & no current on my side my battery is sitting at 49.4v “ you help with the proper wiring battery 1 main negative the black wire goes there and the fist red wire goes to that battery and the last red wire hoes to the main Positive and I’ve checked the wiring harness 3.3v 1 by 1 voltage goes up DALY BMS people say check internal resistance lock wire blue wire B- is 49.4v & the P- is 38.1v
Follow the directions on how to wire these. Don't guess and then complain about how it doesn't work. There's plenty of info on how to wire a Daly BMS. The fact you wired it backwards shows you probably didn't bother to read the directions. Most all BMS are wired this way. Always check your cell voltage and write it down before installing the balance wires then when done wiring, confirm by checking your numbers match. 100 percent guarantee to never get it wrong.
On my battery charger & on my 48v I my max charge is 54.75v because I have 15 3.2v max charge per battery is 3.65 x 15 = 54.75v as I turn up my charger the Amps go up as my volts go up and at 54v my charger is about 40A my Smart DALY BMS Will not turn on and my Bluetooth won’t read
I can tell you one thing : buy another thing that this shitty Daly products. I bought 2 lifepo4 200 A BMS and I can not activate them (in fact 1 has activated I do not know how but I can no more activate it after I unplugged the battery). They sell a product without any led to let us know if it is on or off, without the power board that can start it on/off, that could need a charger to work (and a charger that does not verify if there is current or not of course, sch a charger would not start charging as the BMS cuts the curcuit). This company lacks respect towards his customers, no other words.
I agree. The Daly Smart BMS was a really DUM thing for me to buy. What SHIT. Same issues and can not activate the thing. Total garbage in my opinion and there customer service support is useless.

With the Daly, the balance is automatic. That slider does nothing (learned this from watching other videos), and you need to set the proper values.
