I wish I could post this on every "NCAA March Madness" video, so imma just say it on the most recent one: You guys are fu****** legends for putting out these full games. Big ups to the forward thinking person or ppl who said "yeah let's make these public"
Would be nice if they posted games people requested multiple times though. I'm still waiting for the Nova/KU final four game from 2018.
what negative would they have to not do it
1:16:50 starts the greatest 13.5 seconds of basketball ever
paige made one of the greatest shots of all time... it’s crazy how that’s gonna be forgotten
just imagine what it could’ve became how iconic of an image it would’ve been if it wasn’t overshadowed by Jenkins
God it makes Villanova's win even that much sweeter! No need to remember the most BS chucked luckbox shot of all time.
Came back to see that magic. Really wished Paige and Brice Johnson could have graduated with a championship
It any else watching at home. No school because of the Corona Virus and is just so bored
Yep
Me to
imagine having school

1:19:57 It was great to see that Rollie Massimino, despite a terminal cancer diagnosis, got to see his Wildcats win another title before he passed on 16 months later at age 82.
this doesn't hurt any less watching it in 2020. thank god for 2017
When teams were senior / junior dominated and depth was everywhere. Good basketball...
At 3pm that day, I wasn’t going to this game. Ran into a close friend picking up dinner before I planned to watch the game at home, he just got better seats and had two extra tickets…he gave them to me and I took one of my best friends to the game at the last minute. Unforgettable.
I just bought a copy on Blu Ray so I can rewatch at home. Thank you Villanova and UNC for one magical night, from start to finish!
As much as this game hurt as a North Carolina fan, this was the greatest ending to a national championship game ever. The hurt was erased one year later :)
Inbounds pass should have been guarded wide open roy should have had hicks on him this shouldnt been tbis easy
Oh no, the hurt still exists.
I wouldn't worry about it, UNC is gonna be UNC. There will be titles in the future :)
This was a crazy game to be at. Probably the most memorable time I've ever had with my family
oh no it wasn't uploaded in high quality
who cares
UNC's march through this tournament had been as dominant as their famous 2009 championship run. They won their games by 16, 19, 15, 14 and 17 points and were never challenged in any of the games, just like the '09 team. It seemed like Villanova was just barely hanging on throughout the first half but that sequence to end the half followed by the run to start the second changed the whole narrative.
Hands down the greatest national championship game ever no questions asked
That last minute was one of the best late-game situations I’ve ever seen!!
Not gonna lie. Die hard Tar Heel fan. It took me three weeks to get over this.
But you got through it. Stay strong as a limp noodle
It's 7 years later and I still find joy every day in your loss 😊
Best NCAA game ever. Still gives me goosebumps to this day.
Can we get the 2017 final four and title game soon! Thanks!
2018** they lost to NC State in the 2nd round in 2017
Why did roy leave the inbound pass un guarded should have Isaiah hicks on inbounds pass this game would not ended like tbis

@@joked87isback no they did not. UNC won the 2017 National Championship!
How is this not in HD tho? C’mon son🤨
Best championship game ever nothing topping this finish I am for real.
My first time watching this since I saw the Heels go down live. Still rips my heart heart out! :(

why is the quality so bad. i’m trying to watch it on my tv😐
yea they gotta re-upload this one

and why watch youtube on tv
@@pixeled9683better question is why would they upload this game in one of the lowest possible qualities?
Can we please get this in 1080p as well as a National championship game as good as this next year
Man I miss this team and the 2017 team. Really wished UNC won this, meaning Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson would of left with a championship
This is almost 8 years old.
March Madness starts today!!!
Also RIP Craig Sager
How bout those onions 😂😂😂😂😂
That might be the greatest basketball game I've ever seen 🔥🔥
Without a doubt the most memorable Title Game I've ever seen and probably the craziest final minute of play in college basketball History.
Duke vs. Butler national championship game in 2010 ?? 🤔📘🌃🏀💺

Jenkins was not "Chubbie". What was that announcer talking about? Jenkins did deliver the dagger. WONDERFUL!!!
First championship game on TBS and it was epic ending no championship game came close to this one
One of or maybe even the greatest college match ever
Bruh I watched this game and I was in 5th or 4th grade and I remember going crazy when Villanova won I was so happy
Can y’all upload Georgia State defeating Baylor?

I think UNC will forever hate Nova for this one lol!
Yeah we do even tho we won it all in 2017 we do lol. But hey if we did that to y’all you would hate us too. I’ll admit it tho this was a great game

The greatest national champ game....EVER!!!! Thanks 👍
Who else is here after watching Gonzaga UCLA? Honestly since UCLA was an 11th seed... the Gonzaga game was much better than this........ 1 and 2 seeds oooo

Best college basketball game ever imo
How is that this is the best resolution from an HD game only 4 years ago? Older games are in 720p.

Greatest shot in college basketball
Before this game, Villanova and UNC met a total of three times in the NCAAT
2005 - Syracuse Regional Semifinal - #1 North Carolina vs. #5 Villanova
2009 - Final Four in Detroit, Michigan - #1S North Carolina vs. #3E Villanova
2013 - South Region Round of 64 in Kansas City, Missouri - #8 North Carolina vs. #9 Villanova
!982 East Region Final Unc vs Vill
Wrong, they met in 1982, 1985 & 1991 also.
@@ehs8076 Forget about those dates, although I was mainly referring to UNC under Roy Williams.
@@251to502 that 2005 game was taken from Villanova. 2009 Unc was amazing
@@ehs8076 that was tougher for the Heels than the games against Wisconsin (E8) and Illinois (title game).
The only game I didn't see was 1957 title win the 6th one against Wilt Chamberlain and Kansas I would dearly love to see that one if all possible.
Marcus Paige’s shot may have been the greatest shot in the history of basketball to not matter
1:18:52 Hey look it’s thick boi Kyle Lowry
Ohhhh yay i did not notice that.

Nova was due for this win against Tarheels. Beat the wildcats 05 and 09 title run, and in 09 final 4 semi final game was embarassing for Nova
09 embarrassed everybody
I was born in North Carolina and see the tar heels lose a title game takes a lot out of you and will always be in the back of mind I've seen 5 of 6 national title games that they won and all of ones they lost starting with the loss to Ucla and Lew Alcindor now Kareem Abdul Jabbar in the late 60s to the Villanova loss in 2016.
Kris Jenkins said "No OT. Good night. Go home. F your rings."
480p seriously ????
As a nova fan it’s sad we’ve hasn’t made it since 2018
Heels were playing the refs and Villanova ,and it still took a miracle shot to beat them.

Who saw Terry Crews and Kyle Lowry standing behind Jay Wright before the last shot?
I remember this game...we list but what a game!
crisp clean 480p
It's only big smooth and that's Sam Perkins
This was the worst officiated game I could ever remember watching. Never have used the bad ref excuse to explain a loss. And still haven't, going 6+ minutes late in 2nd half without a FG is to blame
“Love ya bro ..love ya bro ...see u at din er tonight “
Kris Jenkins was a hero
Wait! What happens at 11:44 min in the first quarter? It stands 14:12. Villanova scores a 2-pointer. But nothing changes.
Foul called before the shot
04/04/2016 - 8 years ago
It’s a cop out to blame officials but they let Nova play physical and called some cheap ones on unc. That makes a huge difference in how you play
Exactly! Especially around the 10:49 - 10:51 mark. They blamed Jackson! It was all #3 !! He tried to pull Jackson’s arm and pull him over! Jackson was totally engaged in the game, the other guy was intent on trying to hurt Jackson! Several of Villanova’s players must have had little man’s syndrome against our taller players to have played the punk aggressive way they did! Still can’t believe these refs couldn’t see that it was number 3 for Villanova playing dirty! And then he goes and piles up with the whole team and consoles them like it wasn’t their dirty tactics and then put his arms around them! It was like oh my poor baby boys. 🤢🤮😡😡
@Lucas Larson AND the ref grabbing Jackson’s jersey!! Uncalled for! 😡😡
They should've edited out the commercials so annoying
pls upload kentucky vs wofford
1:32 foul smacks his leg

So disappointing Paige & Johnson, who is one of my all-time favorite Carolina duo's lost their final national championship opportunity that way. You could feel the unbelievable effort and will to win Paige displayed in the final minute through the tv! Yes I was proud to be a Tarheel fan regardless of the outcome after watching that, but it still hurt tremendously to see them lose regardless.

GO HEELS!!! #2024MarchMadness
At least UNC won it all the year after
Bad defense by Carolina on the last possession. I know that you don't want to foul, but to let Arcidiacano to get a full head of steam like that with under 5 seconds on the clock? And then not any pressure at the 3 point line?
My thoughts exactly UNC if they had a foul to give, they could've did a full court press and fouled immediately as soon as Villanova inbounded the ball, and made them go to the line and then try to tie it and or make Villanova foul them and get to the free throw line for a chance to tie it and go into overtime , while its not guaranteed to work, it would've saved UNC from being on the bad end of one of the biggest buzzer beaters in NCAA history, it's crazy to think that bad coaching cost UNC 2 national titles (2016,2022)
Why is this in standard definition though?
1:16:57 & 1:19:49 is all we need to see
sanjinn: NO OKAZAKI.....

Thrillanova!!!
Lol
This game was a great. Except for the ridiculous amount of lopsided calls going Villanova way cause of what was going on off the court. I can still hear that slap during that layup near the end of the game, over the roaring crowd that wasn't called against Villanova. While unc was getting called for touch fouls. UNC won this.
Terrible officiated game. I couldn't believe the fouls that Nova was getting away with and the light touches UNC was getting whistled for
Yuh
Shoulda put MJ in, North Carolina would've won
