I have an X4. Excellent machine. Very robust, very reliable. One of my favourite uprights. Think I should have got the G1 though as i prefer the manuel height adjustment, but it's not available in the UK would have to import one from Germany. Enjoy your videos very much :)
Why have a question to ask cuz I'm also considering to getting an upright as well is the Windsor Karcher and s e b o all the same machine and will they use the same belts filters and bags
Also I do have another question about the sebo D4 premium canister was that discontinued I was asking you a couple of questions about it the other day and I just seen online that it came up that it was discontinued is that true
I've never understood why Sebo has never added the squeegee under the head as they do on the X5. It would make this machine better at bare floor cleaning. This is one fantastic machine and in the smaller headed model (G1) can be outfitted with a soft brush for hand knotted wool and silk rugs. Definitely my next upright and the E series is most likely my next canister
Hi Bruce, can you provide a link to the type of "soft brush for hand knotted wool and silk rug' that can be added onto the G1 you talk about to improve its ability to clean hard floors ? I'm just wondering how to modify my G1 (adding a brush or a rubber seal. THX.
The seal strip to improve hard floor cleaning is part #5400-1. It’s a part for an X4 Automatic series but can be fit to the G1 and would stop the type of scattering spatter that can happen with a single motor upright.
Hey man I have a sebo x4 and wish to install the cover with the boost button on it. Is there a port on the computer control board or does the pet boost model have something different component wise? Seems like a basic override switch to me. Based on the diagrams for both Vacs online the only discernible difference I can see is the top cover is different which apparently includes the boost button on it as it can't be purchased separate
The "Boost button" lowers the brush roller one steep lower and cuts off some airflow and put the brush roller to deep. I would not use it If I had a x4 with the "Boost" The PCB,Top cover &height adjustment are different component wise.
Alright, how well do these deep clean carpets? Its kind of hard to tell, im used to more resistance so to speak, it just doesnt feel like the machine is sucking itself to the carpet all that well

I like these Sebos with manual height adjustment, sadly they don't sell it here
You can get cloth bags which filter better and give slightly better airflow. Think they have HEPA filter available in the US.

The soft brushroll part number is #5010GE.
