About The Profit:
When Marcus Lemonis isn’t running his multi-billion dollar company, Camping World, he goes on the hunt for struggling businesses that are desperate for cash and ripe for a deal. In each one-hour episode of The Profit, Lemonis makes an offer that’s impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he’ll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself.

The Profit In 10 Minutes: Shuler's BBQ
The best line in this episode was when he told him "I could get Schuler to do Facebook."
I've watched nearly all "Profit in Ten" clips and this is my favorite!
@Bdiejd skeins No elaboratation. No response
With Inflation, and what Marcus usually does to the prices, I bet lunch is $14.95, and dinner is $22.95 now. Let me go check. Edit: Not bad, $9.95 lunch and $14.45 dinner. Marcus knows his customers.
The brother in law is sketchy. He wants 6 figure salaries and isn't prepared to do any work for it. I'd get rid of him immediately.
The pit master is high as a kite lol
I had dinner at Shuler last night . It is as good as they say maybe better .
add more tables + fire the pr guy = stonks.jpeg
Shulers in Latta is a great place to eat. The BBQ is wonderful.
I loved their relative: Marcus, I'm just the marketing expert, so you'all work the line, I'm back here on the internet. Marcus told him exactly where he could get off and put him in his place. He later seemed to disappear when most needed; some relative; some employee?
That brother in law……good grief.
Such nice people
Marketing Guy. I post some things on Facebook. I want 200.000 a year LOL
Norton “we see goldmine” 😄🤌🤌🤌
Indeed Marcus and everybody seeing
As someone who has owned a chinese buffet, 42% food cost at those prices is insane. They shouldn't include drinks in that price. Also, they're obviously offering waaaaay too many dishes/desserts. I was making more profit than they were and my sales were half what they're doing...
And YET YOU LOST the BUSINESS 🙈🤷♂️
@@MACEDONIAbitola how do you know they did not sell it because they did not want it or wanted to start something knew
YIKES! Skeeters will get ya on that deck surrounded by water during the summers in South Carolina😲
Ewell (brother-in-law) is shady as well. This fool tried to negotiate a $200,000 salary for him and his wife for Facebook posts(...PR work) This dude was trying to take advantage of his in-laws. I'm glad this snake in the grass scammer was stopped in his tracks.
Marcus: As a blue ribbon award winner I will tell you only the truth. Don't go below 50% butter on those biscuits or you won't see the sales you were hoping for. Don't change her recipe too much as no one really likes the taste of those commercial leaveners either. And yes, my specialty is baked goods. I know what wins blue ribbons.
Kick out the brother in law taking advantage of what the owners built so you can, got it 👍🏽
40% .... Rights to the biscuits..... Da f#!k outta here baaaad deal . all they have to do is raise the price $1 take a pay cut for a while get a bank loan reinvest and expand 100% ownership
They could do that but then they wouldn't have gotten rid of that leech of a brother-in-law and he would be bleeding them dry. Also, they would still be getting ripped off on their food costs and her biscuits would never have made it into production and that's where the big money is going to be if it's successful.
Their PR guy was just riding the owners' coattails without doing much of anything. I also feel like Marcus is sacrificing the quality of the BBQ in return for better profit for the business. That's got to be so disappointing for the customer.
I love this guy man
I wish these 10 minute clips was 25 minutes long
Ewell had some videos on You tube when he did marketing for the state of Louisiana. So he's good at that kind of work just not a for profit business and not as a GM.
I wish them much success! There are times when we need that expert to come in and help us move in the right direction. God bless y’all!!
Did they agree to pay the brother the money to be general manager ?
Magnificent Marcus Lemonis
I know the margins weren't great, but 500K for for 40% a business that does over a million in sales and is explosively growing seemed like too much. Marcus took advantage of that nice family. It's probably been about 10 years, and if they were profit sharing, Marcus would have made back his investment by now, and still owned 40% of the business.
There is a difference between revenue and profit. I invested in alot of companies. One thing that gets companies is they make decent to good revenue but cogs etc eats them up. Why if people listened to the negotiations some if these companies have they have good revenue yet still losing money or making very little.
Essential
Should have just left the place how it was
The profit margin was terrible [on the lunch alone it was twice as expensive as the thought].
Unsustainable food cost & no space to grow the business [for the couple & their son].
They're happy w/the expansion; why would you deny them that?
Is no one gonna talk about 5:00 when he says “let’s start calculating” WTF is that on his head
Snowflake
@@harpper9991 what kind of snowflake tho
No more fun

This norton is very ridiculus! He’s the courage to try to talk with expert businessman how he was anything! It seens typically person that try to get any vantage from the people, even with his family
