Definitely it is a great work. It is to inform that when the singur radial gate was collapsed ,we have fabricated the the stop log gates at site and erected the stop log gates only with the help of winches.as there was no road bridge at all. within a week time. We have erected the singur project gates even with out a road bridge and no approaches on down stream and upstream. We used pants for transport of gate meterial , and cranes mounted on pants to load and unload the gate meterial at jetty and at the dam vents. The LT and TSP refused to erect the gates with out road bridge. Really it wasa stupendous and unique nature of work , might have not done any where in India. This is for the information of our engineers friends.
