Hi and thanks for watching! The video shows the procedure on a Skoda Fabia mk1 and it's not the same for the Scala. By the way very nice choice of car, I envy you 🙂🙂. The point of the video was to show the basic principle which is that there is a latch on every back seat on every car for sure. Try searching around the backrest or in the boot. To be honest I haven't done this on a Scala but I would guess that there isn't much of a difference since it's a Skoda. Also, look at the user manual, in older manuals there are instructions. Hope any of this helps.
What exact car, year, model is this???? Does this work for every car??? I'm pretty sure you can't temove the bottom part of the seat on every car, can you?
Hi and thanks for watching! It's a 2005 Skoda Fabia but it's a great general example for folding seats. It has a very good and practical system. No, you can't remove the bottom part this easily on most cars, you have to use tools. But even then it's not that much of a fuss.
Hi and thanks for watching! I'm not really sure, but I think if it's the station wagon (estate) the backrests stay a bit up like in this video. So it's not completely flat after folding. It's the same case in most Skoda's, of course depending on the model. By the way, good choice of car, I envy you 🙂 Happy driving!
Quite useful. I'm always looking at cars, including smaller cars, with the Question. Can you get a wheelchair in the boot! Most WAV's are big, fairly expensive, unattractive cars.
Hi and thanks for watching! This is a rough estimate but at least from what I've measured: 1,5 meters in length is possible with the front seats in the normal position. 1,9 meters is when the seats are pushed forwards to the maximum but then driving is almost impossible. Practically, only the co-drivers seat can be pushed into this position. 2 meters and especially 2,2 meters needs an open tailgate. Of course, this depends on the load (can it be twisted, turned, put in a diagonal position, pushed between the seats, etc).
Thank you. Your guidance is clear and the step-by-step approach leads to success.
You're welcome, thanks for watching, and glad if the video helped!
It actually helps some ppl.
Thank you for watching!
I am driving a Scala and the rear seats do not lift like you showed in the video.
Is there a release catch?

Can the skoda superb 2018 fold completely flat

Hello tell me pls you can carry something in the back with a maximal length of 2,2 meters? 7,21 foot? Or minimum 2 meters?

@@DespairRepair i thank you very much,I wanted to buy it ,but i think an Opel Vectra or Ford Mondeo is much better, thanks, the best wishes, bye
@@petrucartog838 no problem and glad if we could help. Good choice if you're searching for more loading space, especially the Mondeo!
Does this happen to work on a Skoda Octavia please?
Hi and thanks for watching!
I think so, especially if it's the older model. The basic principle is the same for most cars.
@@DespairRepairare you sure that bottom part of the seat is possible for all cars? Like a old Volkswagen bora?
@@blazorb5907 not sure to be honest but I'm sure it isn't complicated to take out.
