Hi mate lovely car 😃 I have the same car same year just with ludicrous mode and the MCU2 upgrade. Did you get the MCU upgraded? It makes a huge difference. I still get pretty good updates and I love the addition of better games and watching Netflix from time to time. It's much smoother and snappier too. I've done meetings and work from my Tesla a few times too 😂 something I never did in my ice car lol PS I just finished watching your video and realized you buy and sell Tesla's haha so I'm guessing you don't still have this one 😅 I better watch some of your latest videos to catch up
We did not do the MCU upgrade on this one but I have heard people who have done it called it almost "life changing". Just seeing difference in performance on a 2018 or 2019 screen versus the older one is very noticeable.
@@infinitioftacoma1 100% agree! I was fortunate to have MCU2 from day 1 however I've seen so many videos of Model S' with mcu1 and sat in a Tesla with it that I can tell it's a huge difference. Absolutely love my car
Hi, i've heard mixed reviews about this car long term. How does it compare to the p85d. Is the battery more unreliable in this car or is it the same with most old model S's. Thank you.
The battery technology is all the same is the older Teslas as far as I know, its just a batter of the size of the battery pack. I do think the Performacne versions of the S will have better cooling for the batteries to deal with the added heat of performance driving.
Interesting about self driving is dense fog and when seveare rains create poor visability it makes sence to have. Still far from perfect atonomously and hope we never have cars which are ever capable of full atonomy or we lose the essence of the driving experience being behind the wheel.
I lived where you are, I would purchase from you. You were 100% truthful and let the car sell itself. Cool.
Watching you drive in 2x speed has unlocked a new level of anxiety 🤣
I didn't know you needed 95% to use ludicrous thanks for the information good breakdown of the car enjoyed this
I have the same with the Ludicrous mode. I've only used it once in 2 years of ownership. But overall very happy with the car.

I have the same car. My first goal is to upgrade the MCU once I can
@@poeticsoldier that's great to hear mate I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am! 😃👍 One day I'll go plaid 🤯

14k for battery replacement.
Thats not too bad, a lot cheaper than a new engine in most high performance ICE vehicles!
Yeah, really a decent deal imo, just put away a couple grand a year, and if the battery goes out you have the cash on hand for the new one
