I have a friend who has the top spec super ludicrous with every option. Bought it back in 2016. Cost him $300,000. Has the free for life charge package.Has done 220,000 kms and never been back for a service or check up. It's incredible. However his battery life is down from 470 km to 350 km. Eventually will cost $30,000 to replace batteries. Make your own conclusion but if I had the cash to splash. I think i would buy one.
Now the fastest accelerating model is 2.6 s from 0 to 100 kmph and soon is going to get upgraded to 2.5 s via software. For those still using imperial, that's 0 to 62.1 mph, not 60 mph which is less than 100 kmph and when we're talking about 100 ms, it matters.
Me neither. I see myself buying one in 7 years when the battery pack will support only 200 km. Not sure what the socio political implications of that are. The cynic in me sees a return to a more feudal world where travel is a privilege afforded only to the rich. Nah. They say Fusion is only 20 years away...? Luv and Peace.
I love this car so much as well and thank God my dad actually brought one yesterday never thought I will have a car like this in my life, work hard and trust me you will never regret it
This car is Ludicrous alright, the price for a P100D in NSW is $306,223. The identical car in the US is $160,750 US - $211,402 AUD Why a difference of $94,821 Tesla? Ridiculous price gouge
Well it isn't really easy to ship a car all the way to Australia now is it. Add to that import duties, shipping insurance and so on and so forth, it adds up.
Combustion engines are running on 100 year technology. There is no comparison to Tesla if it has such old ways of moving forward. There. Is. No. Comparison.
What a dumb "review". Never mind the awkward attempts at humor, but rather his attempt to bash the up-charging. Like when is the last time he visited a BMW or Benz dealership? In addition those just keep keep kicking up the price to astronomical figures.
Definitely an modern-day automotive icon. Right up there with the 911, Beetle, Prius, Mustang, DB11, Wrangler, etc etc.
2019....STILL luvin' my '15 P90DL.
//GO TESLA//
Absolutely a historic car, how many people want to get an electric car over a polluting petrol car because of this car?

Great review, love the subtle comedy too 😀
Greatest car ever created
I love it, but if I had the money I would by the Model X P100D
But I don't have the money..
Me neither.

Where were you at when you were filming by that ocean landscape that would make a cool poster or screensaver
This review was awesome
What to expect for this car with 90,000 miles
Who remembers how crazy empty the interior seemed just a few years ago.
Year 2020, Sunday March 8 11:27 a.m.
Great review!
I reckon they need a solar charge built in or regen braking
got regen. Don't need solar on the car when there are superchargers around.

its easy, ive done it twice,5k pontiac & olds shipping from LA port to Australia,,300k ?,better off buying top of the range BMW or Merc
Also keep in mind that about $75,000 of that goes into luxury car tax, stamp duty etc.
luxury car tax.
you can blame your govt on that one.
Hi, I think Cars Guide is a good channel.
Awww... thanks. We think you're a good human. Richard
I like that car of electric
How in the world that a family car that can go 0-100mph in 3 sec not get a 5/5? Really? Now that's ludicrous!
Speed isn't everything ; ) Oh and dude, it's 62mph - still that's super quick.
Oh Ok but I believe he did say 100mph and thought wow? Hey have a very Merry christmas ☺
it's 2.6 seconds 0-60 with ludicrous, and launch mode.
P100D is 2.4 Seconds.
I follow loving my cobra 1970
Question to the host: what jeans are you wearing man??
Who’s got battery issues for 8 year plus cars out there…? Anyone?
Is this a 2016 or 2017?
2016
Who loves serving in the ME meddling for oil?

i drive it for work....in white!!
It's not the fastest it's the quickest. It's only the quickest in acceleration to about 80 mph.
Ross MK yeah

What a “dumb” comment
