It was an amazing location. Lucinda Green was one of the commentators on the footage that I watched. I was impressed by the steps taken to make things as safe as possible for the horses.
From the TV footage, it was a stunning course. It was interesting that the 'Belvedere' caused so many problems. So many horses stumbled with the ditch after the drop. I thought the Ros penalty was a tad controversial! That particular jump was slippy ground on the turn.
They just didn’t read it very well probably as had no depth. It was interesting and proves how course designers can do everything right with clear ground line and stone landing but horses don’t do things as expected.
How did you get across the canal? I had visions of you having to swim! 😂 It was a very good cross country course, caused very few problems, and the horses appeared to be finishing in good form.
Either walk around the ends or there was one pedestrian footbridge which was so wobbly you felt seasick walking across with so many people making it sway.
@@theeventingjourney232 oh that sounds unpleasant! I think I'd have swam across! 🤣 the pontoons worked really well, didn't seem to cause any issues, and the frogmen didn't have anything to do!
I thought the cross country course was very clean and “nice”. Deffo not like Badminton. Not as challenging. BUT the show jumping seemed a much bigger and longer course in comparison to Badminton.
So lucky and brilliant videos, love watching your channel

We both like to see the safety and we know it’s having a positive impact on the sport.
Thanks girls (-: Marion 🎉🎉

😂😂😂 lovely filming of Sarah Ennis’ helmet bobble. She finished lame didn’t she? And thank you for taking us with you. 😃
We filmed in portrait for Instagram so some of the ratios didn’t work but did on my computer 🫣

I don’t mind kind as long as it’s still influential and this was with time so still made cross country the main factor
