A strange but beautiful ride on an empty Hwy 17 North.

So, a few days ago, I took a ride along the North shore of Lake Superior on Hwy 17 North. It was strangely empty with virtually no traffic in either direction. I enjoyed it immensely but it does get your mind wondering where all the other people are...

Was it one of the days the highway was closed near there? I know I felt like that on highway 11 the other day too and then heard the highway north of me was closed due to a wreck and another spot south of me as well but it wasn't gonna interfere with my day. So it felt the same, like I had the highway to myself. Until I got to 17 and found all the traffic that day. LOL! Problem is the next day there was twice as much as usual traffic due to everyone waiting the day before. Meh, that's life in the north.🤷‍♂️

We do get our share of closures, but I might have just gotten lucky that day. Stay safe out there.
