Seems like Chen/Jia just economed their energy for semifinals. Doesn't looks like they are really tryed to win. To be honest, they don't have to. It will be absolutely different game if they meet again here.

Japanese beauty Yuki Fukushima and her partner Sayaka Hirota had a surprisingly easy victory as they crushed the world no. 1 Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan by lopsided 21-10 and 21-13 margins. The Chinese were let down by their string of errors, and in the second game they were 4-1 up but quickly 4-8 down as the Japanese reimposed their authority. One could say that in this match we saw the Japanese pair at their finest and the Chinese pair at their worst. At the end of the match, the inept Chen sulked while Jia could still manage a wry smile.
