While everyone was in line waiting to kiss the feet of Christ I prayed the Divine Mercy chaplet because it was at 3pm my time, then I prayed the Seven Our Father daily devotion and then I prayed the last three decades of the Rosary while also praying the last three decades of the chaplet of St. Gertrude which completed my daily devotions.

@@marystrong3371 Father Chris does a wonderful talk, entitled “how to pray”. I do my best praying in the morning I tried to follow his suggestion of using the acronym ACTS. (Adore be Contrite Thank God and Supplicate , ie make your petitions. It has been a long journey for me. I have a little routine every morning that includes making a cup of coffee lighting a candle, having a special place in my home, where I pray, with prayer cards, crucifix my rosary, beads statues of my favorite Saints. even though you can pray anywhere. The way it was explained to me and makes sense is we have a place where we work? We have a place where we cook it makes sense to have a place in your home to pray.
