God I hope this is true. They have more than enough players to add a mode like this. I have no problem with shooting people in Fortnite and outplaying people with my aim, I just am slightly above average when it comes to building and would just prefer not to have to deal with it honestly.
I stopped playing this game for 1+ years moving on to cod, apex, and eventually not playing video games at all that much. But I think this season of fortnite is going to be insane and going to bring back a lot of old fn players. Hopes high for this new season
I’m confident the season will be good overall, however I’m sceptical of “storing items and bringing them to other matches” and the “crowns” mechanics simply because it makes every loss more painful in a game where getting a win as a casual player is very unlikely. On the bright side tho, The map actually looks incredible, Sliding around the map looks fun and the quality of life changes that I’m sure will be included are something well worth being hyped for.
Wonder what they’ll add to creative, the web slinging mechanic would be perfect for a spiderman map and a if a first person mode finally came to creative…
We won’t have spider mans mythic in creative because they are only supposed to be in fortnite until the season ends. That’s why we haven’t gotten any collaboration weapons in creative.
It need more time, Ch4 can just end for all I care. But if they want to save their game they need to stop releasing chapters every year, go back to the 2 year schedule. Getting new chapters isn't exciting anymore.
If I could just throw out one suggestion for Fortnite it would be to add a battle royale mode that disables building. That way if you love building you can go that route, or if building is stopping you from fully enjoying this game then you can go that route. If they did that I feel like this game would explode even more with people who love the art style and/or the br genre but have a hard time getting into the building aspect. That would be pretty sweet! Whatever you do though make sure you stick to this art style, it's pretty great if you ask me :).
This literally sounds like runescape when they split their community by bringing out runescape classic. Both games have been halved because of ideas like this. If you don't like building go play call of duty. Building really ain't that hard.

Don't play the game but want to see the Unreal Engine 5 improvements. The draw distance should be way better and I hope other BRs can do something similar and eliminate object pop ins.
i wish the ground textures had a more detailed look, could just be the video quality or style, but it doesn't exude nanite detail, i hope this isn't a sign to come where most games won't really touch the detail ue5 demo's have

It's sad as a game that's currently only multiplayer. Y'all cry about the XP and cosmetic system, which doesn't affect the core gameplay at all. Just shows neckbeards ability to evaluate a game.

Learn to build the basics then work your way up. Use creative to help your game play but just try n have a good time its a good game people clown it but it’s pretty fun

Don’t be like me where you play the game for years at this point and still don’t know the basics of building, it’ll make it difficult to get into games with people (you’ll have not lobbies)and then when you do have a game that’s filled with more than 10 people you get dunked on and you have to wait until you’re put in lower matchmaking to actually have fun.
Learn. You have to put in some effort remembering the build. Muscle memory etc. all you need to learn are the basics. Box and a ramp. Don’t worry about pyramids. I know a lot of people that aren’t good at build battling and win with a wall and ramp to shoot and cover. play it safe and use some strategic smarts to win.

One of the biggest mistakes from epic was removing the biomes in chapter 2. But chapter 3 is a whole map with FINALLY 3 biomes
