Hi Michelle, no videos in a long time. I really like your teaching style, you seemed more patient and sincere than some of the other teachers out there. Hope things are going well.

Thank you for having the courage to share your thoughts. From the way you retold what happened, I can tell you are still suffering from those moments...
Let me give you another perspective: the universe does not plot against you, i.e. what you believe you did wrong was not the reason you experienced those difficulties.
If you kept living in Xian you'd likely never go through them, you wouldn't have recognized what you did to others as wrongdoing and you wouldn't have the chance to grow as you did.
Mindfulness and being conscious of the universe as whole, that you are One with it, seeing no intrinsic difference between the tiniest and the largest creature, is perhaps one of the most powerful lessons one can have.

I appreciate that rather than just mindlessly parroting generic platitudes like "ignore the haters" or "they're just jealous of you", you actually offered genuinely revelatory wisdom that the degree to which we're bothered by negative comments is a reflection of our own ego. After all, if we're not depressed by bullying that happens to others, why should we depressed by bullying toward us, if not because of our own ego? We should all be bothered by what happens to others as much as we're bothered by what happens to ourselves.
Also, while I don't necessarily believe in karma, I appreciate your honesty about your own past unkind actions. Most victims of bullying are stuck in the narrative of a victim's mindset and wouldn't even consider their own prior participation in such behavior. In truth, kids can be so mean without even realizing it. While I never intentionally bullied anyone, I did once, as a kid, suggest that a fellow classmate's hobby was eating. I didn't intend it as a fat joke-the humor was supposed to be that eating is something utterly mundane that we all do and is therefore not a real "hobby", and I could've just as well said some other mundane action like drinking water or sleeping-but of course that's not how it was received (the whole class chuckled when I said it), and I was too shy/timid to clarify what I had actually meant, let alone apologize. Since then, I've been more mindful about how what I say can be misconstrued and cause unintentional offense.

…bothered by comments is our ego. Hard to control others. Comments may not even allude to the one being referred to. Bad joke, often merely just for fun, “don’t take it personally”, though sadly it is at one’s expense.

Hi Michelle, be careful compering the universe with you because you'll figure out that we are nothing. Moreover you are unique and ignore someone's spoiling you.
Just do what you think it's right for you though someone could think different ways.
Meditation, some exercises or to listen to your favourite songs could help you to release our depression.
    just be yourself! 😁

Jesus, I had No Idea. You seem so good and you're gorgeous, super beautiful. Seriously.
That sucks! Hey my childhood was a nightmare. I'm glad you're here.
When I say nightmare I mean criminality, people went to jail. I'll never be super normal but I'm also not gonna die. Don't die. That's an order!

Yes about peoples with mental illness, I think we can speak and spend time with few but we are not psychologists or psychiatrists so we need take care, and they can use our lack of temper or our too much kindness if they don't wish being headed

Michelle!!❤❤we all missed you so much! I'm so happy to see your face again I appreciate you sharing your story I was bullied as a kid too & I grew up kind of doubting myself because what I was told in the past by some ppl I realized the negative ppl say about you can either build you up or tear you down & sometimes it takes you get broken down in order to build you back up to be strong again what really matters is that you always bounce back & know that you're better than what the haters say about you & it's other ppl that know you & know that you're beautiful inside & out I'm happy to see that you didn't let life keep you down & your back up as you should be because we make mistakes you get forgiven by others & you forgive yourself most importantly but imo nobody deserves to go through that regardless of your past so remember Michelle you are pretty a very talented teacher & you have more ppl that really care about & love you than hate you me being one of them of course😄 so happy to see you again stay strong we love you laoshi!❤ #Hatersgonnahate
