Love what y’all are doing. I’m from provo but living in MO now and excited to try thermal mass for heating our new hoop house. Just got it today from farmer’s friend. Thank you for the inspiration!
@@lizroberts8168 how does the weather there compare to Provo? Are you glad you moved or missing Utah? I hear the grass IS greener out of state and MUCH more affordable. Thoughts ?
I'm looking to do this method of greenhouse. What's better for long term use? Harbor Fright 10x12 greenhouse, or a portable carport kit about the same size made into one? I seen your video on the Harbor Fright conversion and that looked excellent, would like to know more about that unit. What you like and don't. Thank you.
@@yusukeiwakawa6797 they both work with some extra 2x4 support. The harbor freight ones we have turned into hobbit greenhouses. I am a bigger fan of the carport idea now. The harbor freight are a bit nicer however but want more square footage than they give to play around with.
@@chadsproduce I got a ShelterLogic 70658 Greenhouse-in-a-Box om amazon for $200. It's a 10x 20' carport style greenhouse. I'm planning on putting your ideas to work on this. Any tips and advice be appreciated. My neighbor got me another greenhouse cover thats maybe 26x40'? I'm sure I can wrap the straws and greenhouse with.
@@yusukeiwakawa6797 I am very interested in how good the shelterlogic greenhouse is. Costs more than the cheap Amazon greenhouses and claims to be much more durable. Please let us know what you think. I am building walls of grass clippings. Leaves. Whatever I can find currently on the north sides of my new greenhouses and collecting containers for water masses now. That’s where I begin. Thanks for watching. More videos coming soon.
Hey Chad, family, and friends ! I’m questioning 1:13 it’s compact I get but it’s wet ? Is that manually watered all the time, none at all or just occasionally to supplement rain water ?
@@lizroberts8168 I haven’t tell me more? My goal in all of this especially with my new idea the $100 Hobbit Greenhouse is to make the dream of producing food year round in the lower 48 states during winter affordable for all. We are doing it on a pinch 🤏 of a dime.

106 is too hot. Not optimal for most plant growth. You need better ventilation
@@user-gh8wt2zi2n 106 outside. Can’t ventilate the outdoors. Cooler in the greenhouse. Which makes them crazy efficient without fans.
