    That's impressive for Ogden. I lived there for 15 years and I know how cold the winters get. ...A bit of constructive criticism: Don't do your videos in a singe take with no editing. You spent less than a minute in your greenhouse and had repetitive dialog. You don't have to get fancy, but don't be afraid to do a little clipping. I was bored to tears for 6 minutes.

      Citrus cannot grow here in zone 6 whatsoever. We are manipulating the trees to do this.

      @ remember a standard greenhouse is 100 degrees during the day and 20 at night without a heater. We are using no heaters. No electricity

      @@emilymimikos4756 we get the black sooty stuff on our citrus leaves. Something to do with aphids but doesn’t seem to hinder anything. Outside the greenhouses, We had a grasshopper invasion last summer and get the usual earwig invasion. Otherwise we are doing fairly well. The greenhouses had a slight grasshopper issue last year but other than that all is well. Wind is our biggest issue. 65 mph canyon winds.

      @@kylespeaks7401 I got a video coming out really soon showing a thermal radar device that will go through these greenhouses and show exactly where the heat is coming from on a day that has sub zero windchills. Leaving the mulch in bags has a really interesting result we will show.

      @ what growing zone are you in? Have 20 of these devices. 10 of them handle this easy. The other 10 is touch and go. I agree is disheartening if a tree freezes.

      I am not. There is a little ditch in the middle of the greenhouse and that is where the water comes in to supply the plants. The plastic won’t get into that water and can be easily removed when deteriorating.

    That's a great idea I'm from Indiana and it's so cold outside and that would be a really great idea now I'm going to have to try this. I do have a question for you though I have a lemon tree in my house I can't seem to keep the leaves on it it's still alive but during the winter I just can't keep the leaves from withering and dropping off the stems are still green and I keep it watered I might need to put it into a larger pot but other than that I just can't think of what to do to keep it going during the winter months

      @@lyleplanckjr2101 we just had some people from Indiana fly out to do a farm tour here. They loved it. The trees aren’t very happy until they are in the ground. Lemon trees are the most tender of the citrus so make sure you have plenty of protection.

    Beautifully pruned peach/apricot/cherry trees!! I’m so glad you went out to learn how to prune them!!!! Although I’m more permaculture than monoculture because of disease .. but either way beautiful trees!! And I encourage you to seek other people to teach you how to prune certain trees

      During the day near 80. At night our goal is to stay above freezing to keep these trees happy. We where 10 this morning and our citrus trees where very happy. Check out my video short showing this.

    Just depends for me. I have a short season, so I always check the growing time needed. Depending on the amount of seeds I need, might be cheaper for me to buy bulk.

    What are you going to do when the trees get taller than the hobbit greenhouse?

      This device is bigger than it looks on your screen. Holds two standard concrete reinforcement wire large tomato cages inside, which could fit up to that size of citrus tree. The yield would be similar to a large caged tomato plant yearly. Is meant for dwarf trees and a good pruning yearly. This devices has exceeding all expectations so far.
