I saw this in one of the comment section of another yt reactor for intl fans...some few notes here since the song have a lot of Filipino references: 1. Pablo cooking scene - The ingredients in the pot he's cooking are for the Filipino dish called "nilaga", this is reference to PH proverb, "Pag may tiyaga, may nilaga" which means "hard work has its rewards" 2. Stell shower scene - In PH since the weather is very hot here our body produces this "sour" smell in the armpit (that's why we always use deo) so people who don't take care of their hygiene here are called "maasim" literally "sour" so then he said in the lyrics that no matter how sweaty and sour he smell after all the hardwork he did all day the haters are more "sour" than him/them. 3. Josh rap part - He said that he will not swallow a stone because he's not Darna, Darna is a PH Icon Comics hero, she swallows a "stone" before she transform on her Darna form, so what he's saying is he's no superhero - He said that he's his own mechanic and don't need "Moniko", this is reference to a PH tongue twister: "Minikaniko ni Moniko, ang makina ni Monika" which translate to "Moniko fixed Monika's engine" so he's saying that he doesn't need anyone's help to build himself 4. Justin switch with the dog - This is reference to Filipino term "dogshow" used when you are clowning/making fun of something/someone. It can either be you're making fun of another person or you're making fun of yourself. It's "dogshow" because on literal dog shows, the dogs are being displayed to the public to make "tricks" who else does "tricks"?---- Clowns. 5. SB19 no eyebrows scene - If you raised your eyebrows on someone, you're judging them, right? Or being mean to them. On the MV the lyrics says to burn their brows. In PH there is this saying when you are studying hard, "nagsusunog ng kilay" which means burning their brows because their faces are buried on the book. So they're probably saying that instead of raising your eye brows on someone (judge them) why don't u just burn your brows (study) because the haters are basically dumb. EXTRA: Not a Filipino reference but at the end, the alien scene, they're actually mocking their Alab MV. (watch alab mv again and focus on the last part) This is because during that time they are fully managed by their Korean management SBT which made them do things they don't want to do as the group. In Alab MV, for example, they are promoted as "PPOP" but the MV literally starts and ended with someone speaking in Korean so PH netizens bashed SB19 about being a KPOP wanna be, no originality, and having no Filipino roots in their music.
Love that you took time to explain in detail to make the nuances/satire (that Pablo as it is (big brain) is known for may it be lyrics etc) understandable. But my 2,3,4 cents, the way I see it, the ALIENS at the end represents the outside world (foreigners as we call non-citizens aliens) who have their focus on the small ants/beings in the caged earth but they loved that ONE SMALL glittering gold of a group in the colony, they caught the Aliens' eyes, thus manifesting that those outside their own abode, SB19 is finally seen. Though, YES, these boys parted ways with Tatang Robin (SB) and they did go through the hardships of being in a Korean company, but we have to admit, had they not had that Korean strict standards, they would not have been the group that we know of them now. Though they definitely possess the talents and all to be relevant in current World POP scene, they did need that push(their first company) to jumpstart everything.
@@mcbapbabe My take on the alien scene? Just the boys messing up with our heads lol! They know we always analyze their MV's and songs and we know how naughty and funny they can be. But then again, they always say that there are no right or wrong interpretation because that's how the song resonates to you. But one thing is for sure... They're the only artists who can make their fans scream and use their brain cells at the same time while watching their MV's.😆😉
To add on the alien part (to me), I think it’s also them signifying how little they still are in the scale of the music industry worldwide. I remember Ken sayin somethin like that during one of their interviews at the wyat tour

There are thousands of adjectives in the dictionary, but I think no word could properly describe the chaos that is this reaction video! This is just so entertaining to watch. I like that it wasn't just all hype, each one of you really tried breaking down the Easter eggs, metaphors and symbolisms in the MV. I'm sure that is how our Mahalima wants their audience to appreciate their work. Here is my input for the end part. I completely agree with one of your friends that the "alien scene" was actually a commentary on the restrictive and manipulative side of the music industry as a whole. For me, the "aliens in suit" are the executives in the music industry. So we know that when something is an "alien", it is an outsider, it is not from that world. It works in the same way that those bigwig music executives probably don't know anything about being an artist, a musician or a performer. At the very least, they are businessmen, so why do they get to have a say on the direction of the artist's decisions and choices? Now that they are self-managed, and they have more creative freedom, it's clear now more than ever that this is who the real SB19 is. Without those "aliens in suits" managing and making the decisions for them, they are able to unleash their full potential and just be true to their identity and advocacy. I believe that scene is a diss to their previous agency just by the line "pre, what color is your love?". That specific line was actually the intro to their Alab MV, their second MV after Go Up. As we know, during their early days, they were closely managed by a Korean agency and their image back then was that of "the first Filipino boy group that underwent Korean idol training." While this was true, they are more than just that. However, due to their management's decision to brand them in this way, it kind of backfired and they were bashed during this time with Filipinos calling them "Kpop copycats" and "pretentious ingrates who aren't proud of their roots". But this was far from the real intention and advocacy of SB19 and we all know it, that is to uplift the whole PPop and Filipino music industry and showcase true Filipino talent around the world. After this, there was a sudden shift in their subsequent releases as shown by WHAT? MV which is as Filipino as it gets. It was apparent that they were trying to run away from their "Kpop" ties and influence. They are not Filipinos trying to sound Kpop, they are Filipinos pushing the boundaries of Filipino music across borders, and there is a huge difference between the two. Sorry this comment took a rather dark turn. More power to your channel though!
I like what Jean said that the anthill represents the music industry. I remember Ken said that when they went to the US for their tour, it felt like they were ants trying to penetrate Hollywood or Western music industry. SB19 is a group that can be considered the gold of the Philippines in terms of P-pop, yet they're are so humble.
Do you know where he said that? It wouldn't happen to be in a newspaper article or something? I always hear interesting stuff like this, but most of their interviews aren't subbed. I wish they would do another Toni Talks or Kwentojuan, something subtitled where they can speak in depth about their experiences, creative process, etc. The Rappler/Philippine Star interview is a recent example of something that could/should be subtitled.
@@Mm_Hm I think, it was from one of their interviews. I'm sorry, I forgot the exact video link for it. SB19's avid fans will most probably reply to you here if they know where to find it. I'll try my best to look for it and get back to you as soon as possible.
@@Mm_Hm I agree with the subtitle. I wish from now all their videos about SB19 will have subtitle, so that international fans can understand and relate to it, too.
@@jen8932 Thanks, I appreciate it! I actually prefer the Tagalog interviews because they can express themselves fully. I just wish more "outside content" was subtitled so we can "hear" these stories directly from them. I've watched the Toni Talks and KwentoJuan interviews so many times because they are the only in-depth tagalog-speaking, English-subbed interviews I can find. A LOT has happened since then.
there's a Filipino idiom that says "magsunog ng kilay" which literally means burn your eyebrows. it means you strive/work hard to earn your success. I think the whole song is a metaphor for how they achieve their success.
You weren't kidding when you put chaotic in the title 😆 Nevertheless, y'all were so fun to watch because y'all seemed to really enjoy yourselves watching this comeback. Just wanna appreciate you for introducing SB19 to your friends and I also wanna appreciate them for being so open and welcoming to our mahalima 💗 You obviously put a lot of efforts editing this from putting subtitles to zooming in on everyone's reactions, and putting your analysis of the MV. Thank you for loving SB19 and for the hardwork of putting out great contents like this 🙌
We waited for you all guys! 😂❤ THE LAST PART is a CALLOUT on their "ALAB" MV, when they were still under SHOWBT, the Korean-based company that trained them. In the MV, Korean language was still used, at the start and at the END, "What is the color of your love?". Here, they used aliens, but notice, the sound of the aliens mimic Korean language. I hope you get it already. As mentioned by Pablo, this Song like a culmination of their story. On the part that Justin swapped with the dog, I think it means they were being dogshowed. Here is the Philippines, "dogshow" somehow means that the show is being taken as a joke. Again, a call out on their experience when they were just starting. There's a LOT to unpack here! ❤
What a fun chaotic reaction 😂! Pablo said in one of their IG live, this MV is a satire! The boys delivered on humour, visuals and talent! Sooo many Filipino elements! Thank you for this! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💙💙💙💙💙
Justin and the dog (Chimi, a Golden Retriever), is kind of like a joke. When someone makes fun of you, we call it, dogshow. Sometimes, "Bardagulan" in Tagalog. Think of SLMT lyrics. You might be interested to know that Ken was the stand in for Chimi. Hahahaha. I was fascinated with all your theories about the song. Pablo joked before when he was asked what is the meaning of the song. He said, nothing actually. We (A'tin) just like to put meaning on it. Hahahahaha. And it's actually a satire.
This is a great content, I love how chaotic this is. It brings so much fun to me while watching this. Your male friends are so respectful and fun. I mean they supported you in this video and that effort alone makes them so precious. The girls are fun to watch too. They hype genuinely. Im glad how they break the song to pieces and understand eacho symbolisms and meanings. Im glad this showed in my feed. It just made my day so much. Im an atin since day one. Thank you for suppporting our boys. Thank you so much chachi. BTW you are all fine looking. THe girl in yellow is my crush gosh she is so pretty.
What a fun and chaotic RV. HAHAHHAHAH Thank you for all your sweet words and for the love to the boys. How I wish I also have these bunch of people with me. Love from PH 💙🇵🇭
For Justin-Dog switch part, here's my take. There's a saying in English "it's a dog's life" which basically means it's a lonely, sad, depressing life. In that specific scene, the dog didn't only have Justin on the leash, Justin also made the gesture like a dog. So it's like the dog is making him experience what it's like being a dog... the dog's life. This could mean that despite the success they are having, the supposed glitz and glam our surrounding them, their life is really a sad, lonely, even a hard life. This would also tie up with Josh's, part where he said "the real question is who's really me? Movie is definitely not my reality coz [what my life is] it's filthy/dirty". But, as Justin said on that switch part "it'll be better soon". They may be having a hard time now, but soon enough it will be a better life.
This is so fun, you and your friends are amazing Chachi, thank you for always supporting the boys and thanks for always promoting them to your friends Chachi🥰❤

I enjoyed watching your RV…complete with all your friends or relatives they are all funny…the way all of you analize the meaning of the lyrics behind this video was totally deep and hillarious sometimes ,how the girls get excited with SB19 members ,thinking so genius and how everyone of you interact to each part of the scene ….Thank you for appreciating SB19💞💞the content also is actually referring to how hard people people strive to achieve their success , and Gento’(literally means like this ‘a slang pronounciation of people from Cavite city) and Another slang word for Gold (is Gento -GINTO) ,this is how they are describing a person’s rise or their past experience just like starting from extreme poverty ,to one of great wealth ( it was the old rags to riches fantasy)..the composer leader Pablo combined the visuals that the music video served ,in their video it tells also how they strike Gold as they show how it’s done ,which means how they ❤struggle to prove themselves ,because SB19 has faced many harsh criticisms, particularly the bashing they received for their looks and , for being handled by the Korean company ( where they apply and got trained there which is actually for me they are lucky coz ,its for their own good so that the possibility of achieving their dream will be easier) Obviously it;s b’coz there is non -filipino training center here handling for a sing and dance ,boy or girlgroup here before . ‘well long time ago..there are lots of filipino performers being hired in other countries like show band or rock bands ,solo singer , cultural dancers , i myself is a musician and majority of entertainers prefer to go work in japan ,the place where i started to admire japanese for being so trendy & fashionable (in Harajuku) during’80’s & this is where the trending Pop group or sing and dance group all started ….now they call it J pop / Kpop / now we have Ppopgroup or simple as boyband ..those bashers mostly young ones ,instead of appreciating or helping their co filipinos achieve their dreams or help them become famous internationally , they bash them in all social media just to contradict with their popularity ,…and to those who are judgemental and not familiar with the story of who started the trends usually are the ones who are so bitter and kept on criticizing fellow filipinos while admiring other countries boygroup ,well there’s nothing we can do about it ,it’s their own choice and happiness 😢specially those bashing sb19 accusing them for being a copycats of Kpop acts since their debut, they will never understand how is it being trained by a korean agency, which are disciplinarian ,and bashers never will they noticed that they’re just the same with other common group , working hard performing ,singing tagalog and english songs, ….as if every notes or dance movements were copied & started from their idol group ‘s country ,not even noticing that even other pop group were influenced by michael J. Or jackson five and other famous foreign artists.Well let’s just wait for their upcoming album PAGTATAG because whenever SB19 releases Music videos such like this ..only broadminded viewers can understand what’s behind the story or lyrics and it’s deep powerful meaning mostly dedicated to all the bashers 😂😂😂.. Thank you so much for this very entertaining RV all your opinions are amazingly good and Happy Birthday to one of your friends there…🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love this reaction. So much fun. I laugh so much from the begginning until the end of the reaction. I think this is one of the best reactions I watched. I really enjoy. Thanks Chachii and the rest of our fellow A'TIN friends from Dominican Republic. I had a blast watching all of you react to SB19's GENTO song. I really really wish you will have a chance to see #Mahalima on your side of the world soon. Sending you all warm regards from New Zealand.
Here are some explanations about some scenes in this MV which refer to some Filipino culture. 1. Pablo cooking scene - The ingredients in the pot he's cooking are for the Filipino dish called "nilaga", this is a reference to the Philippine proverb, "Pag may tiyaga, may nilaga" which means "hard work has its rewards." 2. Stell shower scene - In PH since the weather is very hot here our body produces this "sour" smell in the armpit (that's why we always use deo) so people who don't take care of their hygiene here are called "maasim" literally "sour" so then he said in the lyrics that no matter how sweaty and sour he smells after all the hard work he did all day the haters are "sourer" than him/them. 3. Josh's rap part - He said that he will not swallow a stone because he's not Darna, Darna is a PH Icon Comics hero, she swallows a "stone" before she transforms into her Darna form, so what he's saying is he's no superhero - He said that he's his own mechanic and doesn't need "Moniko", this is a reference to a Filipino tongue twister: "Minekaniko ni Moniko, ang makina ni Monika" which translate to "Moniko fixed Monika's engine" so he's saying that he doesn't need anyone's help to build himself 4. Justin switch with the dog - This is a reference to the Filipino term "dog show" used when you are clowning/making fun of something/someone. It can either be you're making fun of another person or you're making fun of yourself. It's a "dog show" because, on literal dog shows, the dogs are being displayed to the public to make "tricks" Who else does "tricks"? ---- Clowns. 5. SB19 no eyebrows scene - If you raised your eyebrows on someone, you're judging them, right? Or being mean to them. On the MV the lyrics say to burn their brows. In PH there is this saying when you are studying hard, "nagsusunog ng kilay" which means burning their brows because their faces are buried on the book. So, they're probably saying that instead of raising your eyebrows on someone (judge them) why don't you just burn your brows (study) because the haters are basically dumb. EXTRA: Not a Filipino reference but at the end, of the alien scene, they're actually mocking their Alab MV. (Watch ALAB mv again and focus on the last part) This is because during that time they are fully managed by their Korean management SBT which made them do things they don't want to do as the group. In Alab MV, for example, they are promoted as "PPOP" but the MV literally starts and ended with someone speaking in Korean, so Filipino netizens bashed SB19 for being a KPOP Wanna-Be, no originality, and having no Filipino roots in their music.
I am not the type of person that always comment on videos or post, but I really enjoyed your reactions while watching the MV and it feels so genuine and hyped . Thanks for supporting SB19 💙😊
Though your reactions are very chaotic and entertaining to watch, I am amazed on how you interpret and decipher the music video. I love it. Your exchanging of ideas is very good and engaging. Thank you Chachi and the gang. You're gold!
You guys are so funny....thank you for liking our filipino pride....SB19....i love the energy of each and everyone of you....although we have different culture...dialect...you still enjoy listening to their music....i salute you guys... cant wait to see your next music review together again with your friends....i was smilling and laughing the whole time while reading the english subtitle...hahahaa...Good job...THANKS AGAIN FROM US HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES....❤❤❤😊😊😂😂

This RV is indeed a disaster haha but I had fun listening to you guys, as always.. And also, despite the jokes and chaos, you all are really good at analyzing details, your interpretations are always great and I love this kind of RV where the beauty of the details and meaning of the song do not go to waste because you make sure you understand its story.. Thank you also for always introducing them to your friends
1. This is the best reaction I've seen 2. I wouldn't realize stuffs and metaphors in the music video if you guys didn't react to it 3. These people made everything so fun. 4. I love how some are hyped and some are having poker faces like they don't know what's going on 😂 5. Here in PH, girls would usually bias the other 4 members and not pablo but in this video I LOVE HOW MEN AND EVERYONE CHEERS FOR PABLO. Pablo is my bias 😭 6. Damn that last part, such a good realization! 7. I love how you guys saw those small details even the flying guy in the video and the moment where you guys paused on the 2 girls and it was even blurry 😂 8. I love it when the camera stopped recording and you just showed the music video with you guys screaming fighting and laughing in the background, that part was a good one. I felt like i was watching the mv with all of you and i can't stop laughing, i was feeling all the energy 😂 Ahh thank you guys for this, wonderful video ❤
“Pagtatag” means “to establish” so they’re saying that they are establishing themselves, they’re building their structure, their group, creating the true image that truly reflects them ❤
Thank you Chachi and the rest of your crew for this chaotic RV, it made my day laughing at most of the reactions of your friends (even fighting over their biases) its fun to watch you enjoy and vibe with Gento. Hopefully after June 9 when the rest of the Pagtatag tracks was released you'll be able to do another chaotic RV as I'm sure you will also enjoy and love them.
Wow im so happy watching you guys.i got so much laughter when girls started owning their biases and shifting and getting back to them again when some scenes display the boys irresistible awesomeness. Our Pablito slayed those bars like some magic and i couldnt agree more when girls noticed his sexiness with that lip bite.
They are humble indeed
Exactly :)
Thank you for loving SB19 and for the hardwork of putting out great contents like this 🙌
hahaha, thanks my love
Amazing reaction❤..
Love you guys❤
We waited for you all guys! 😂❤
THE LAST PART is a CALLOUT on their "ALAB" MV, when they were still under SHOWBT, the Korean-based company that trained them.
oh really? thanks for the insight my love ❤💖🥰
@@CHACHIICHANreacts 😭😭😭 Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
oh wow
Please reserve 16 concert tickets for this crazy bunch! HAHAHAHAAH
"Pagtatag" actually means "to establish". In this album, SB19 is cementing their place in world music history.
Do you mean "patatag".
I think mas closer ang meaning sa strengthening
ahh thanks love ❤💖🥰
@@itsDenelleE strengthening its foothold.
For me, pagtatag means establish and strengthening 😊
you guys are so fun to watch...filipinos are also like that sometimes..!
What a fun chaotic reaction 😂! Pablo said in one of their IG live, this MV is a satire! The boys delivered on humour, visuals and talent! Sooo many Filipino elements! Thank you for this! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💙💙💙💙💙
AWW THANKs love an yes I agree, this mv was a masterpiece
Beautiful chaos! I wanna join you guys lol love from 🇨🇦
Justin and the dog (Chimi, a Golden Retriever), is kind of like a joke.
Thank you Chachi and company for making me laugh 😂
❤❤❤ Thanks Guys love you so much for supporting our boys ❤️ SB19 PPOP KINGS ❤️💖🥰 A'TIN PHILIPPINES 💕
Thanks so mucho, we love you too!! ❤💖🥰 more power to SB19!!

Bro!!! You're genius by decoding what they really meant by being controlled! 🤧 I hope they win this battle.
this was so much fun to watch 🤣 and I'm glad I'm not the only one that calls pinuno "Pablito"! He's killing me lately!!
He is officially our Pablito !
OMG I can't stop laughing you guys!
They may be having a hard time now, but soon enough it will be a better life.
hooowooooow.😄😄😄. this is chaotic.. cant stop myself from laughing!!🤣🤣🤣 hahhaahaha
Como estas? Your reactions on GENTO are simply pure, fun and awesome! Muchas gracias gente linda de República Dominicana! Mabuhay!

hahahahhaha akala ko dina sila matatapos!! always fun watching this gang’s reaction!!
Thank you so much for this very entertaining RV all your opinions are amazingly good and Happy Birthday to one of your friends there…🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow .. happy family ...😊
Thanks for noticing sb19 ❤
I love this reaction. So much fun. I laugh so much from the begginning until the end of the reaction. I think this is one of the best reactions I watched. I really enjoy. Totally agree to Jean’s analogy of the aliens and how big the music industry is and how the group can be controlled by that industry
Imma support Dominican Republic in miss universe because of this! 😂

Hi love! We are happy you enjoyed it ! ❤💖🥰
You are all fun to watch. I laughed so hard watching you guys 😂
Here are some explanations about some scenes in this MV which refer to some Filipino culture. 1. Pablo cooking scene
- The ingredients in the pot he's cooking are for the Filipino dish called "nilaga", this is a reference to the Philippine proverb, "Pag may tiyaga, may nilaga" which means "hard work has its rewards."
2. Stell shower scene
- In PH since the weather is very hot here our body produces this "sour" smell in the armpit (that's why we always use deo) so people who don't take care of their hygiene here are called "maasim" literally "sour" so then he said in the lyrics that no matter how sweaty and sour he smells after all the hard work he did all day the haters are "sourer" than him/them.
3. Josh's rap part
- He said that he will not swallow a stone because he's not Darna, Darna is a PH Icon Comics hero, she swallows a "stone" before she transforms into her Darna form, so what he's saying is he's no superhero
- He said that he's his own mechanic and doesn't need "Moniko", this is a reference to a Filipino tongue twister: "Minekaniko ni Moniko, ang makina ni Monika" which translate to "Moniko fixed Monika's engine" so he's saying that he doesn't need anyone's help to build himself
4. Justin switch with the dog
- This is a reference to the Filipino term "dog show" used when you are clowning/making fun of something/someone. It can either be you're making fun of another person or you're making fun of yourself. It's a "dog show" because, on literal dog shows, the dogs are being displayed to the public to make "tricks" Who else does "tricks"? ---- Clowns.
5. SB19 no eyebrows scene
- If you raised your eyebrows on someone, you're judging them, right?
In Alab MV, for example, they are promoted as "PPOP" but the MV literally starts and ended with someone speaking in Korean, so Filipino netizens bashed SB19 for being a KPOP Wanna-Be, no originality, and having no Filipino roots in their music.
i want also like your group when i watch sb19 videos, i hope you could see their concert!
I am not the type of person that always comment on videos or post, but I really enjoyed your reactions while watching the MV and it feels so genuine and hyped . Thanks for supporting SB19 💙😊
