Really WoW, did not think this would work.
Tried only pressing lock when ignition before, but it did not work. This worked!
Probably something with disconnecting the car battery.

Hey everybody! Like as sad @Andredy, you don’t need turn on lights or disconnect the battery. You need only open car by key, put the ignition key and hold lock button down on key for 10sek and viola! That’s work for my car Peugeot 307 HB 2007.

Thought so it's to much to reset remote ... Only thing this method was lacking was spinning around yourself twice and clapping hands over your head three times😂 however... We're talking about french cars.... WHO knows 🤣

When you put in the key an turned on the ignition - did your display on the dashboard also show a a crossed out key ? I have tried this procedure and it did not work. Peugeot tells me that they either have to reprogram they key (70euro) or replace it (500 euro) 😫

Hey man, this sequence is BS . What have the lights on got to do with resetting the Key fob?
It works because I’ve just tried it. Regarding the lights could be to get rid of the static electricity before setting the locking 👍🏻
After doing this my Peugeot 206 cc, the dashboard indicated that my trunk was not closed properly. after that I closed the trunk hard. Thankssss
would this work on a 1998 406 estate and when you say hold down the lock button do you mean the button on your fob ?

I suspect that disconnecting the battery, opening the window and switching on the lights are all unnecessary. You can also put on your best frock, stand in front of the car, dance a jig, sing the French national anthem, and salute if you want, and none of that will harm things, but it won't make any difference either.

on my 2007 citreon c3 all I had to do was put the ignition on and hold the unlock button in for ten seconds and my key worked again

Tried this on a Peugeot 307s but remote still won't work, neither remote works and both have recent top quality batteries. The central locking button on the dash works, stumped as to what the problem could be.
