Melanie's whole carrer is hugely underrated but this new album has to be one of her best. Brilliant energy, a truly cohesive sound, great production and honest lyrical themes. This is my favourite (that bass and the bounce is fab). Getting Carly Simon - Why vibes from this!

Depth is the word, i agree. Mel C's songwriting is a paradox, simple yet there's a lot inside the lines. The same applies to Spice Girls' songs, the arrangement unpacks a lot of things when you replay the song
