A simple start with a lot of mechanics not present yet, but it makes for a good showcase of Leia's new artes! The Power Charge restriction to level 1 seems like a good way to not invalidate the neutral game indeed, that makes for a promising run!
Leia got so many cool artes in the second game. I wanna say more then the rest of the xillia cast, But I don't actually feel like checking. Regardless, Nice fight!
I'm not sure how many artes she got compared to the others, but she really needed these new artes. As much as I love X1 Leia... she is not a complete character lmao.
@@HorangiTiger Tempest Pirouette spam is one of the best ways to speed through random battles in X1 (the meter refund on that move is absurd), but yeah she is TERRIBLE against single enemies.
It’s wild jumping from X1 Leia to X2. Definitely interested to see where this goes. Also, poor Ludger. He ran as fast as he could but couldn’t get here in time for the boss, leaving Leia to pass the MC certification test instead. Maybe next timeline, bud.
Honestly learning X2 Leia was really difficult for me at first because it was super familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time with the new artes and combo system. It was like... "I should know how to play this but I don't" lol. Me when a character has more than 10 offensive artes: 🤯
limiting pc 2 and 3 is going to make a lot of the late game bosses real hard to punish, but I suppose that was the same case in X1. Good luck at your new job at Shinr - I mean Spirius
Leia is actually pretty cool in Xillia 2, love what im looking at here. Really gonna pray for you on those future bosses, i couldn't imagine not doing PC 2 and 3 on bosses without weakness. That could be really interesting to watch though :)
Hopefully the ones with no weakness will end up being the most interesting ones to watch. There's some cool stuff you can do with some of them. Key word being some :p
Nice combo to start things off =03. Super excited that you'll be playing w/o PC2/3. Sounds like you pretty much came to the same conclusion I did, especially after doing my X1 Leia run, and that is that I enjoyed the counter mechanic in X1. Coming up with strategies to maneuver around their attacks made the fights exciting. That, and PC2/3 into combo made every X2 boss more or less the same. It was boring after a while. Plus you have to wait 5s for PC3 and I'm just like 'Nah, we not doing that.' Most bosses can be power combo'd anyway once you get through iron stance and only a select few have weaknesses that can't be exploited, though that's based on Leia's natural boss routes; not sure how it'll be if you're going though every X2 main/char-chapter boss fight. I don't think you'll have too much trouble with anyone except maybe Victor(cause I myself haven't played against him as Leia, but who knows, maybe you'll be so good he'll be a cakewalk (^,^ )) and maybe the later Rideauxs. The most annoying thing in X2 is that resisted attacks instantly removes stagger from the enemy, unlike X1. And a lot of bosses have earth and/or wind resistance. But once you get more accustomed to understanding how to use your new artes outside of a combo nature, it won't be as much of a nuisance; I think it'll expand your knowledge and playstyle and make you a better player. Plus Eagle's Rage is the goat and has a number of use-cases outside 'a combo ender when you're high in the air' =03. I think you'll really enjoy it. Anyway, I'm be looking forward to this run, especially since some of my initial fights I started the run with look a bit rough, and would love to see an updated version =03.
I've never been someone who is super crazy about combos in solos in the first place. I think I've always enjoyed the neutral aspect of Tales more than the combos even going back to the start of my channel with Colette haha. I do want to use this X2 run to become better at doing combos, but certainly not at the cost of fun neutral shenanigans! Some of my initial fights are probably going to be a little rough as well since I'm still not super experienced in X2 but I hope you enjoy nonetheless

Only using Power Charge 1 has been pretty fun so far from what I've recorded! Hopefully it stays that way and I don't regret the decision haha.
