It would be cool if Netflix Castlevania went back a bit and did a brief movie/special on Simon Belmont. I kinda envision the opening being Castlevania 1 while the crux of the special is Simon’s Quest. Rumor seems to have it when they’re done with Nocturne they want to do another series based on Aria and Dawn of Sorrow.
the ultra underrated SIMON'S QUEST is what i want to see been remade as Anime series but only and as long is been made by the right hands as long they won't having him running away from the sight of vampires like a complete Little Boy Belmont
With how the original Netflix series dismissed Leon altogether aside from that portrait in the Belmont Mansion i'm sadly convinced that this boat has already sailed and we'll never see a Lament of Innocence series based on this "continuity". If only Dracula said _"So Leon kept his promise"_ during Season 2 instead of _"So you must be the Belmont"_ that may have rekindled my waning hopes for a Leon centered series. Alas now i know it's not gonna happen.
Leon is shown in the series via a painting in the halls of Belmont. Leon didn't actually fight Dracula in the storyline. Trevor was the first one to fight and kill Dracula.
@@NecrelKitsune Leon did still fight the *source* of Dracula's power via Walter Bernhard and was instrumental in the _creation_ of Dracula which is the reason why the Belmont Clan is destined to forever fight him across the centuries as revenge and penance for Leon's accidental role in Mathias's transformation into a vampire. Even if Leon never got to face his brother in arms in combat he still vanquished his predecessor (Walter) making him on par with Trevor.
I fwish mwetflix did casselvania with Weon fiwst… come on, dude. Castlevania second series needs a second season. The best is yet to come. Fingers crossed
In between Leon and Trevor, there’s like 2 or 3 games worth of Dracula encounters, meaning more Castlevania in the main timeline (though if Trevor is regarded as the first Belmont to actually defeat Dracula, they’ll have to find a way for his ancestors to not defeat him but still win the day). Not to mention the 1999 game that they owe us.
And they could do so many spin-offs with the Belmonts, like Simon's Quest. It's frustrating that they spent so much time giving us non-Belmont protagonists only to drop the series entirely.
The 64 games and Circle of the Moon were made cannon later. They are examples of the whip being used by other hunters after Richter passed it on to other families to protect. The only non-canon now are Legends and the Lords of Shadow series.
Lords of Shadow gets a lot more shade than it deserves in my opinion. The fact they made a completely separate canon in it's own universe but still keeping all the core characters an working them into a new lore that was actually pretty good is very impressive.
@@solidsnake0427 Honestly Mirror of Fate was my favorite one, the whole callback side scrolling style was really nice just wish it wasn't so linear. However the story was just amazing, when Gabriel found out the truth about Trevor and tried saving him is hands down my favorite Castlevania moment.
@@nobodyspecial115 Again, I have to agree. But I love all three each for a different reason. Overall, it was a very interesting take on the Belmont/Dracula method of the series. Dracula is alive in Nocturne. He has lived in peace alongside Lisa since their resurrection by St Germain. I really doubt Erzebet succeeds in turning him evil again. But there's a chance they make Dracula fight alongside Richter in Alucard (which would be inspired by the Lords of shadow plot).
Wish they made nocturne as mature as the previous series. Previous one was perfect in every aspect and had balanced combats where this one makes Richter = Trevor + Sypha and Elizabeth > Dracula.... Note: Trevor also knew a lot about vampires and night creatures, where Richter is clueless about everything and is just a teenager.... Richter just learned about the existance of night creatures in nocturne where Trevor knew about the ancient pact about a dagger between god and an indian vampire hunter ...

It's funny, they were made with the same engine that they used to make the 2 N64 Zelda titles. Everyone considers those to be some of the best games in the franchise and nobody really gripes or complains about the graphics in those games
Nocturne was complete ass. The first anime (2017) was absolutely amazing. Not even sure what netflix was thinking allowing the garbage spin off to likely sink any possibility of having more of Dracula's story be told. Also in Nocturne everything is politically correct but it doesn't add to the story what so ever. Gay vampires (like who cares about their sexuality) And two of the main characters are black, which wouldn't be an issue what so ever except they exist in a part of the world in which black people hadn't even set foot in time period they are in. Sure they are fighting vampires so maybe it doesn't matter, but they go for historical accuracy with almost everything else that relates to the real world so it doesn't make any sense other than for the sake of political correctness.
For a NES game back then in the 80's they were some of the best looking games made, that's the crazy thing lmao In my opinion the handful of various 2D gameboy games has held up better than the early attempts at 3D. Symphony of the Night still looks great because they stuck with 2D while the 2 N64's titles did not age well at all lol

It’s cuz they’re following Alucard’s story throughout the original timeline.
Start with Curse Era, then Nocturne Era, and end with Sorrow Era.
Valid point.
Hence why I suggested Simon’s story just be a special; like Thus Spoke Rohan to the Jojo anime.

Is nocturne a spin-off series or a sequel to the 1st one? There is no need to erase the first series to the new one since it had different timelines.
From what I’ve seen, Nocturne is a direct sequel to the first Castlevania Netflix series. It’s set 200-300 years after the original series.
