    I'm really enjoying stepping up the quality and production value. Since this is a UFO story we can make story as strange and wacky as possible.
    So here's my take:
    "During the 1950s and "60s there was this secret space program in the Netherlands. The program was led by the Royal Netherlands Air Force with as primary contractor Fokker a small little known Dutch aircraft manufacturer. Together they produced a vehicle with 3 rotating wings, it was called the Triplane II. Painted all red, because the family of the Red Baron sponsored part of the project. As cover up from the Dutch government they joined ESA around the same time.
    The plan of the program was for it to be able to fly around half the world. Thus they shipped the vehicle to a small place known for its rich Dutch history, Dutch Harbor in Alaska. From there the vehicle was launched in the direction of the Netherlands, but it never made it there. No one knew what happened. Did the Russians shoot it down, was it abducted by aliens??"
    No one knew, but I think you've found Mikey!
    P.S. Nothing is real about that story, please don't consider it real.

  • @Jimbo-in-Thailand

    Mikey congrats! You really set the hook with the mystery storyline and an engrossing presentation enhanced with excellent camera angles. Yep, an excellent production Mikey! 👍👍 Based on your eye witness reports I'm also betting the UFO was a detached spinning prop that could have easily sliced into and buried itself in the shallow muddy lake bottom. Wonder if there's possibly a long lost report filed by a civilian or military plane suffering a prop loss during that time period in that area.
    As always... Cheers from Thailand and...Keep 'em coming young fella. 😁

    Great video. Thanks for this. From your last bit of drone footage, think that I may have a clue. Fort Churchill Manitoba had a rocketry range in the 1960's during this time frame. There was a secret project called HARP or High Altitude Research Project run by Dr. Gerry Bull where he tried to launch a satellite using ballistics (firing it from a huge diameter ballistic gun -- actually a few howitzers welded together). They also had regular rockets to test the Alouette satellite at Fort Churchill. This distance from Fort Churchill to Clan Lake is only about 1,185 kilometers. I think that it is a test rocket gone wrong from the Fort Churchill Rocketry range, if it wasn't from the HARP project. As an interesting aside, Dr. Gerry Bull (a Canadian) was assassinated by Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service. He got several magazines from Uzi submachine pistols emptied into his face, because he was trying to sell Sadam Hussein a supergun that was capable of launching a payload the size of a Volkswagen Beetle over 1000 kilometers. Edit: PS - the spinning could be the rocket in its death throes spinning around.

    • @Gundog55
      @Gundog55 3 года назад

      ochsblogger Dr. Bull was actually shot in the back of the head with a suppressed .22cal pistol five times as he bent over to pick up a newspaper that Massad had placed at the front door of his apartment. The .22 bullets penetrate the skull then ricochet around inside of it doing the job quietly yet very effectively. He had returned to Germany due to the pipe he was to use for the barrel had been held up by customs in England. Brilliant man but just working for the wrong side.

    I’ll tell you what, though; how about a collaboration video, next year? I’m busy until freeze up, but I’d take my inflatable boat out and camp there for a week or so, if you guys are in? Grid search with the drone, investigate the juicy bits? See if the next time an Aurora is in town, the MAD stinger could be put to use. Or see if Acasta or GSH hand do some geomagnetic work over the sight. I can make a cozy camp, cook well, run a boat, fend off critters, etc. Maybe look for funding or pitch it to the History Channel or similar? Yellowknife has some great film producers, too. Kinda the north’s version of Oak Island, potentially. Lemme know what you think. It really intrigues me.

    A meteorite will be metallic ie:Iron. If anything did infact hit that lake as described it will be metal. Low levels of oxygenated water like that in such a lake will preserve such evidence. A towed metal detector or even a towed ground penetrating radar will make quick work of that lake and can be had for quite cheap and folded into a small airplane.

    I have a similar story to tell, but with a more practical and anticlimactic resolution:
    I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and up until I was in High School I had heard stories of a B-25 Mitchell crash-landing in the Monongahela River after WW2. Most of the locals believed it was still at the bottom of the river.
    One day. I was at the main branch of the city's library, reading the latest edition of Pittsburgh Magazine and I read an article about the B-25 crash. In it, the author told the story, and then told of a "dredging project" on the river done by the Army Corps of Engineers two or three years after the crash, *in the dead of night!*
    Hey, gotta make those deadlines, right?
    Clan Lake, a place requiring a float plane to reach it, with so few people living nearby there are no roads? You collected a lot of hard-copy reports...but not all of them?
    I believe it's space junk too, but I also believe the Canadian equivalent of the Army Corps of Engineers and some NASA nerds had a midnight "dredging project" to finish ASAP.
    Those dang deadlines - what a bunch of buzzkils!
    Then again, you might be on to something with that oddly perfectly straight-looking log, so go get it ASAP...before someone officially announces a Clan Lake dredging project ;)

    Two ideas;
    #1 a meteorite hitting the lake, and the extreme temperature when hitting the water cause it to boil in the first few seconds (blades spinning) I'm sure anyone has seen a hot metal dipped in water cause a small explosion.
    #2 A drone or satellite coming down unexpectedly.
    That works for me because the coordinates seem fairly accurate to be able to help whomever was responsible to retrieve it? Or whoever found it first retrieving it?
    My final conclusion;
    I believe they did actually see something, but it was not supposed to be seen by civilians. That answers my questions about why it's not able to be found even with magnet today.
    But great job making this video, it was very well done.
    Thank You.

    This was a great video Mike in every respect and a nice change of topic and pace from the Ice Pilots which I used to watch all the time. I think this 'ufo' could have been a propeller that came off a plane and hit the water, mainly because they said they heard what sounded like a large plane before it happened. I do believe alien ships have been coming here because so many credible people have seen them, but I have my doubts about this particular case, but I'm really glad you covered it. Cheers.

    Helicopter, mostly because it would be the only craft with staying power, which would fool an ear (most people who don't know how the sound's supposed to pattern will look for a helicopter a lot, and look in the wrong direction, more so than a plane), as to where it was before crashing, but also because out of all the propeller types, it's the only one that has a gear box which will power through the water after a crash, long enough, to create that water "spoke" effect described.
    That and the description seems spot on for a typical helicopter crash.

    • @MikeyMcBryan

      @@MikeyMcBryan True, but i'm saying this from the perspective of the entire operation flown there to seek things out. Something was out there, something crashed, and if we stay in the realm of normal, the likeliest, to me, seems to be a helicopter.
      You're much more experienced in these affairs than any of us, from across the world. What's the likeliness of an illegal or otherwise unregistered helicopter, in the 60's?

    Very interesting story! Sounds you've just touched the surface of this one. I'm curious if there is a magnetometer available for rent you could dangle from the plane that would be sensitive enough to detect any metal objects, and you are probably on the right track using the drone for aerial recon. The report about the reeds/grass having a channel cut in them, and the note in the second page of the report saying the water depth was about 18" where it occurred. Given the evidence at hand, it sounds like it could have been a propeller which came off an aircraft flying overhead - spinning, spoke-like, forward motion, plane noise overhead. But would one still spin like that after falling several thousand feet to the ground?

    • @MikeyMcBryan
      @MikeyMcBryan  3 года назад +3

      The Prop off an airplane idea 💡 has the issue of momentum. If there is no power to the prop then it shouldn’t spin to long. That’s why a Drone makes sense as it would still have power and fuel. And nobody would miss a drone. A prop on the other hand lol.

    • @mycosys

      @@MikeyMcBryan i suspect in freefall the imbalance in drag between the blades' 'front 'and 'back' faces combined with gyroscopic forces might tend to keep a prop free of the shaft spinning and not tumbling?
