This story hits home. My aunt gave up all 3 of her children, the two boys were adopted by an Amish family in PA. Neither of them stayed in the community, but they are both very kind souls.

This is a special story. Touches very deep confusion and sadness. So glad Elizabeth's foster parents are kind. These stories are good and decent with bits of wisdom to reflect over.
